Ritsuka, Azuna and I headed into the ballroom, where we were handed orange drinks.
"I'm lost. What is this king and queen stuff their talking about?" Ritsuka ask.
"Yeah, I'm curious too."
"Oh, right, I forgot to tell you. In one of the women's glasses, there's a crown, and the same goes for one of the men's." Azuna explains.
The three of us look around at the disappointed girls. "If your glass has the crown, you become the queen, the star of the entire evening. You even share a romantic dance infront of everyone."
"What if they don't know each other?" Ritsuka asks.
"Tough. It's a really old festival tradition." I look at my glass and start drinking it. "Chill Y/n, there's no way you'll get it your first year."
When I finish the drink, at the bottom of my glass is a crown. "This can't be possible, the odds are very slim! Someone's playing a trick on me, right?!" I ask Azuna, panicking. I didn't want to be center stage.
I look around and my gaze stop on the three student council members that were here already, Urie, Mage and Shiki, who were all in which drinking their grape drinks, two in which became disappointed to find out their glass was empty. My eyes widen, seeing that Urie had the other crown.
Urie walks over to me, Azuna yells out to me and I just mentally panic. What do I do?! Should I hurry up and give the crown to someone else?! Yeah, that's what I should do! Sadly, before I could, the other students crowd around us, cheering and drags is to the thrones.
"I'm glad I got the chance to be your King, my butterfly." Urie says.
I look to my right, away from Urie, with my elbow on the armrest of the throne, and my head resting on that hand. "Yeah, I'm excited to be here too." I say with a hint of sarcasm.
The music for what I'm guessing is out dance starts up, and I hear Urie getting up and come towards me. When I look up at him, I see Urie holding his hand out for me. "Can I have this dance, my butterfly?"
I blush at his romantic gesture, and hesitantly take his hand. Urie then guides me to the dance floor. "Urie, I have something to confess. I can't dance..." I admit, embarrassed about this whole situation.
"No need to worry, my butterfly. I will guide you, and if you mess up, I will be here to catch you." I blush and nod in response.
The two of us start to dance, Urie taking the lead and me, trying not to mess up too much.
While I look at my feet, I could feel Urie grab my chin and lift it up so I look at him. "Focus on me and I can garentee that you won't trip up."
I smile. "Thank you for the advise." I thank him. "I think I understand you. You may be a huge flirt, but when you find someone you care for, you watch over them and make sure their safe. I don't know how I know this, but I can just tell..."
The music stops, and we stop soon after. I stare at Urie and he stares back at me for what seems like forever.
When I realize that I'm staring, I look away. "You're... A good dancer..." I mumble out.
"You weren't half bad yourself, my butterfly."
I blush at Urie's comment. "You're just saying that."
"Not at all. I truly mean it."
I look back at Urie, about to thank him when I'm suddenly being dragged away. I look at the person who was dragging me to see Lindo was dragging me away. "Lindo! Let me go! You're hurting me!" I yell, trying to break free.
