Y/n POV

The light coming from Ritsuka and I slowly dies as Ritsuka passes out. I had also weakened quite a bit, but it wasn't enough to make me faint like it was for Ritsuka. Although, when I tried to stand up, I fell back to the ground.

Anyway, Lindo had caught Ritsuka, put an incantation on her and turned to me. I looked from him to Azuna's cold, dead body. Tear were still coming out, but I knew now wasn't the time to cry, so I had wiped my tears and let Lindo put the can incantation he had put on Ritsuka, on me.

Lindo got up, holding Ritsuka. I stand up, using Lindo as support. "We can't just leave her body there." I say, looking at Lindo, who had a conflicted look on his face.

After a moment or so, he speaks up. "If we want to get you and Ritsuka to safety, we have no other choice."

I look down to Azuna's body, then at Lindo. "Ok, but when this is all over, I wanna honor her death properly."

"I can except that." And with that, we prepare to head out.

Urie's POV

Once I as well as Mage and Shiki had teleported to where we felt the presence of the Grimoire, I sniff the air. To my surprise, Ritsuka and Y/n's scents had covered the area. That's when I puts the two pieces together.

"That's a shock. Ritsuka and Y/n were the Grimoire all along." I say. "To think we believed it was some kind of tomb."

"Meaning that Vienna stuff was a big fat lie." Mage says. "Man, Rem's so full of crap."

"I'm positive he knew the truth. But what was he trying to protect?" I question.

"So the shivers I would feel around Y/n had to be because she was the Grimoire." Shiki states. "I knew it, she really is such an extraordinary girl."

"Damnit. No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to catch onto their scent." Mage says in frustration.

"Of course not." I reply. "It looks like the butterflies were taken by their knight."

Shiki POV

I go over to the body of the exorcist girl. "Aw, that's a real shame. Guess you weren't as though as you thought you were." I start poking the body. "You poor thing, you poor little thing." I let out a laugh, looking up.

My laugh stops when I see the others had left me. I run to where they were standing. "Hey! Get back here you meanies!" I let my wings out and fly after them.

Rem's POV

Once the Shiki had left after Urie and Mage, I teleport into the area. I look around, then at my palm/crown. "Why do I feel this way?"

Y/n POV

When we had gotten to the exorcist society, we were given a room. On our way to the room though, I noticed how everyone was looking at me, so conflicted. They must have known that I was an angel-devil hybrid, which explains why they look conflicted, but that didn't mean they could stare at me like that, so I glared back at them.

Apparently they had decided to give Ritsuka and I separate rooms, which now that I think about it, was a good idea, that way it would be harder to locate both of us.

I sat there, waiting for Lindo to come back from his business with the exorcists and his visit with Ritsuka. I couldn't help but think about how Azuna risked her life to keep Ritsuka and I safe, but before I could think about it too much, the door had opened.

I look up to see Lindo had entered the room. "Is Ritsuka ok? What's gonna happen to us?"

"Ritsuka's fine, and you're both fine here. They'll keep Ritsuka here until after her birthday has passed, and they'll keep you here until the next full moon after this upcoming one." I nod before looking at my hands and bursting to tears once again. "Y/n, it's alright."

"No it isn't! If I hadn't ran off to fight, I could have protected Azuna and Ritsuka, and Azuna would be alive right now!" Lindo wraps his arms around me, rubbing my back.

"She wouldn't want you to blame yourself." I look at Lindo, still tearing up. "I have to go, but I'll be back if you need anything."

I nod, and he lets go, heading out. Looking at the door, I start feeling exhausted. When I rest my head on my pillow, I instantly fall asleep.
