A Revelation I'd Rather Not Hear

Ailani's P.O.V

"Your reactions are too slow, you'll get hit before you can even blink if you're not quick enough."

One of the girls was sparring with Katie, teaching her how to dodge a hit when fighting.

Katie stopped, crouching down on the ground gasping for breath. "Can't you spar with one of the others, you've been fighting me for about 15 minutes straight."

The girl shook her head. "In Barbados, the weakest links are called out in every training session," she tied her dreadlocks up that had come out whilst she was teaching Katie. "You, you are the weakest link."

"Gee thanks," Katie sighed, falling down from her crouched position onto the floor.

The girl, who we had come to know as Rhea, shook her head. "Luna, you're up. Izzy, show her how it's done."

The girl that had invited us to join them stepped forward, a small smile on her face. She was wearing black biker shorts and a white baggy top, her braids tied back with a black bandanna. Her dark skin glistened in the sunlight; I was convinced that it wasn't even sweat.

"Are you happy to spar with me Luna?" She asked.

I chuckled. "It's weird you calling me that, my name is Ailani. Just call me Ailani. And yes, I'm okay with i-,"

"Ha!" The girl began attacking me, dodging behind me so fast I forgot where she was, and before I knew it she had kicked me onto the ground, holding me in a headlock.

"Omg! Ailani you have got to be quicker than that. You didn't even try to fight once!" Katie was still on the floor, laughing at me instead of gasping for breath.

"Oh so I see you've got your energy back," I said, once the girl released my neck and stood back up. "Rhea, you can continue sparring with her now, I think she's had a nice break."

"Yes Luna," Rhea chuckled.

Adrian's P.O.V

"She's the spitting image of her, I swear it. I thought that it was Ailani. It was only the accent that gave it away. Other than that, she's Ailani all over."

"There must be some pictures of her somewhere?" Christopher mused.

I shook my head. "I doubt it, our pack tried to hide the Legend of The Human Luna from us, if there were pictures, then they would've been destroyed."

"Maybe the pictures are on another packs territory?" Catalina said.

"There are more than 50 packs around the world, what do you expect us to do, travel to all of them?" Solomon groaned, disliking her idea.

"If that's what it takes." Catalina replied.

I sighed in frustration. "What is the actual danger here?"

"If the other Human Luna is alive-,"

"She's not alive, she's dead! The Battle of Aquatine took place hundreds of years ago. If she was alive back then, she is dead now." I was tired of arguing about this. "Ailani seems fine to me. There is no need for concern at the moment, we are wasting time."
