Twelve years later
"That's perfect." The photographer's masculine voice came up after another click of his camera.
"Can you arch your back a little bit?" he asked and Jennifer did exactly that, making her cleavage lines even more conspicuous. Jennifer had been shooting for a fashion magazine for the last one month and she was happy that they were wrapping up with shooting that day.
"Woohoo! We are finally done here," the photographer announced after taking his last shot, making Jennifer to take in a deep breath of relief.
She walked down from the stage she had been standing on for the last one hour and started walking towards the photographer.
"This is one of the most stress free shoot I've ever done. You made my work easier for me," the photographer which Jennifer had come to know as Dayo said to her the moment she went over.
Jennifer wanted to say that her feet was already aching her from standing for so long when the director immediately spoke.
"You should know that you're working with the diva of modeling. What do you expect when you're working with the only one that can make even a sack look attractive on her body," Charles, the director spoke in his usual cheesy tone.
Jennifer laughed lightly at his comment.
"Charles, you have come again with all this your talk.""But I'm serious." Charles turned over to Dayo and asked, "Am I not saying the truth?"
Dayo laughed before answering. "Definitely."
"God bless you," Charles said and looked back at Jennifer who was busy wondering when he would ever change.
"Let me take this picture to the editors now so they can start working on them," Dayo said before leaving them.
Jennifer was just about to leave Charles for the green room when he held her by her wrist, making her to turn around to look at him.
Charles gave her the puppy eyes, instantly making her to remember her dog, Molly that was at home. "I can't believe this shoot is coming to an end and we never had the time to go out on that our date that I've been telling you about," he said.
"Charles, you know I have a boyfriend right. Besides, I thought you were in a serious relationship," Jennifer flickered her lashes at him.
"But it's just a friendly date we would be having, nothing much attached," Charles calmly said.
Jennifer rolled her eyes up and down at his persistence. "But it was supposed to be at your house. Was it not what you told me the last time you asked me about it."
"It still doesn't mean anything," Charles insisted.
"I just want to rest after working so much. But don't worry, I would call you whenever I have the chance to play a little," Jennifer said, trying to free herself off the hook. She knew the only way she could do that is by giving Charles a ray of hope at least.
"Okay then, that your boyfriend is really lucky though." Charles finally let her hand go.
Jennifer smiled. "Yes he is."
She finally walked away from Charles."Charles would never change. He was disturbing you again right?" Dorothy, the makeup artist said with a grimace immediately Jennifer walked into the green room.
Jennifer took a seat in front of the large mirror and smiled. "You know how he is."
"Who does not know Charles in this Lagos? He is a talented director but the other thing he is talented at is directing women into his bed," Dorothy added, making Jennifer to laugh so hard that she almost fell down from the high stool she was sitting on.
