Jennifer watched in awe at the magnificence and beauty of the Kola's family mansion of a home which was located at a very exclusive part of Victoria Island, Lagos.

"Kola this is beautiful!" she said to Kola, looking at the breathtakingly beautiful environment around her as he drove through the black gate that opened into the house.

Kola let out a small chuckle. "My dad has an obsession for purchasing really huge properties and hence the big house."

Jennifer looked at the huge land area before her which held three structurally identical duplexes that formed a U-shape. She caught a view of the shimmering blue water of a large swimming pool that was situated in the middle of the three duplexes as Kola approached the car park where four other luxurious cars were already parked; two black, a red and a white.

Jennifer sighted Cynthia who was on a short, black, skintight dress, stepping out from the duplex that was in the middle of the other two, even before Kola could properly park his car.

Kola finally parked his car and came down from it along with Jennifer. In a matter of seconds, Cynthia had rushed over to them and pulled them into a very tight hug, almost draining the air out of their lungs.

"Cynthia stop it with the hug already!" Kola intervened and Cynthia finally freed them.

"You complain too much Kola," Cynthia said with a sneer at Kola before replacing it with a bright smile as she turned over to Jennifer. "Welcome Jennifer, I love your dress," she complimented Jennifer's brown dress.

"Thank you very much Cynthia," Jennifer replied with a smile.

"You didn't go to work today?" Kola asked Cynthia.

"How can I go when you later told me you would be coming with Jennifer. I had to take permission from the head of my department," Cynthia replied in her baby voice.

"Where do you work?" Jennifer asked, trying to start a friendly conversation with Cynthia.

"At my parents' company. I'm still learning though, under the head of sales department," Cynthia replied in a cheery manner, her pretty smile not leaving her dark face.

"Where is dad Cynthia? I'm not staying all day," Kola spoke impatiently.

"He is at the lounge with mum. Let's go, they are waiting for us," Cynthia replied and the three started walking back to the duplex that Cynthia had come out from.

The interior of the house was just splendid to Jennifer as she looked around, from the finely crafted furniture and to every single gadget inside.

Jennifer noticed the back of the two elderly- looking couple that were seated on a white sofa in the lounge immediately they stepped inside. The man who she guessed to be Kola's dad had his right hand around the lady who she figured out to be Kola's mom.

She noticed that Kola's mom was the first one to turn around to see them approaching. Mrs. Shoyemi who was wearing a long material gown and her neck heavily decorated with a traditional red-bead necklace and earring immediately stood up and started walking towards them, her arms wide open and her face bearing a very welcoming smile. Jennifer didn't fail to see the similarities between Kola's mom and him. They both had the same shape of eyes and the same dark skin color.

"You're welcome my beautiful daughter." Mrs. Shoyemi brought Jennifer into a warm hug and Jennifer could perceive the lovely scent of her perfume.

"Thank you ma." Jennifer prostrated a little bit as she greeted.

"You're welcome dear," Mrs. Shoyemi said and turned over to Kola. "I'm glad that you came Kola."

"It's nothing mom," Kola replied.
