Ruby's pov
When we walked upstairs after we got back from the hospital buck was on the couch. I walked over and he had my jacket
" what are you doing my love "
" fixing it for you "
He healed up the arm and showed me the surprisingly good sewing
" it's a fireproof thread "
" good "
I leaned over the back of the couch and gave him a kiss and then he said
" I tried to get it as clean as I could "
" thank you "
He stood up and walked around to look at my arm that was covered in white bandages and I said
" so did you guys find out what was going on with that "
" oh he was trying to get back at someone from a different house "
" oh wow "
" lunch's ready "
We went over and got a plate and sat down and we all talked and the rest of the day was easy and finally, 6 rolled around. We walked out and Eddie was right behind us
" race to the school "
" haha no "
I said and they both had a smile on there face.

When we got home I started to make dinner and Buck was helping Jake with his homework. I watched as he struggled and after 20 minutes I had spaghetti done I would have made the sauce from scratch but it was getting late and he had to go to bed soon.
We went to bed and I quietly said
" so you work the 6:30 to 3 tomorrow right "
" yeah and your 8 to 6 again right "
" correct ... hear anything from them on the place "
" not yet "
" God I'm so tired "
" I bet "
He laughed and I got in bed and put my head on his chest and soon I was out.

I got up at 6 with him and decided to make a full spread for me and Jake and picked out a recipe for Buck to make for dinner whoever gets home first has to make supper. I was just finishing and it was about 7:15 and he woke up and walked out into the kitchen
" good morning "
" morning "
" ok go get dressed then we'll eat ok "
He nodded still half asleep and I got a plate ready for him and myself. He sat down and the hair in the back of his head was a mess so I smoothed it as I set down the plate
" ok so I have to work till 6 again tonight Bucks going to pick you up you know what he drives "
" yep "
He started to eat and so did I. We ate quickly
" ok get your stuff ready I'll be right back "
He nodded and I grabbed my work t-shirt and put an extra shirt in my bag and came back down
" ok ready "
He was just finishing up tying his shoes
" yep "
He had a smile on his face and we left.
He was sliding over to the other side to get out and he said
" show and tell parent day is coming up and umm would you "
" what you don't want Buck to do it he has better story's "
" no, I want you "
" ok we can talk about this when I get home tonight ok but I'm holding up the line "
He gave ember a kiss on the head and gave me a smile and then jumped out.
