We had been there for three hours and I felt like someone was watching us so when we got outside the gate and gave Jake the keys but I didn't make it obvious. I looked behind us and there was a guy following us but I didn't get a good look. When they got in I was buckling Chris in and I saw someone approaching the car but they had a bandanna tied around there face and there hood up
" Hey um lock the door when I close it ok "
Jake nodded and when I closed the door I had to go around to the other side and there was a wall in front of the jeep so I had to go around the back and that's when the guy grabbed me. I elbowed him in the stomach and he let go but tried to grab me again and I punched him in the nose and when he was down he pulled off the bandanna and it was the cop that asked me some questions when I got us out. I pulled out my phone and called 911
" 911 what's your emergency "
I recognized the voice
" Maddie it's Ruby "
" ok what's wrong "
" me Christopher and Jake are at the zoo and I think a I think a guy tried to take us he attacked me but I'm ok can you get someone here to take him in "
" yeah yeah umm it looks like I can have someone there in five "
" perfect thank you "
" you're welcome do you want me to stay on the line "
" no, it's ok to go save some more people "
I hung up and in three minutes a car showed up and Athena got out
" what happened "
" well he attacked me and I'm pretty sure he was following us in there "

" three hours "
She looked at him
" Are you kidding me "
She looked up at me
" he's been obsessed with you he was fired two weeks later after they found out he was looking into you and "
" stalking me I'm guessing "
" yeah he was let off with a warning "

She tried to get him up but struggled so I helped her and when she left I got a text from Eddie
' hey can you drop him off on your way home '
' yeah '
I walked to the door and he unlocked it and I got in
" keys .... thank you "
" what happened "
" oh that guy was drunk and fell so I had to call for someone to help him"
" ok "
I dropped Christopher off and watched as he made his way to the door then I left. When we walked through the door I told him to go get cleaned up for dinner it was about 7 when the door opened and Buck walked in and I could tell Maddie said something to him because when he came in he dropped his stuff at the door and ran over to me and hugged me. When I was done eating I said
" ok is everyone ready to go for tomorrow "
" yeah "
" I'm scared "
Jake said
" is it your first time flying bud "
Buck said and he nodded his head
" don't worry about it ok we'll both be there "
" and Christopher "
Buck added
" ok well it's time for bed my loves "
After we got him settled down and in bed, we went to our room. When he closed the door I hugged him and I couldn't help but cry
" Shhh shhh it's ok it's ok "
" but it could have gone sideways "
" God you sound like cap now but you know you're the strongest person I've ever met "
" yeah "
I pulled away and looked at him and he whipped away the tears on my face and said
" you're my superhero "
I smiled and lightly hit his arm

As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out.
