I had an ice pack and I was hiding in the locker room. The bell went off and I ran out when we were going Bobby said
" it's a dumpster fire "
When we got there it didn't take long to get it out then another one started and I saw someone running away
" I'll be right back "
They had it under control so it was ok. Soon in a doorway for a bar, I found a kid that looked to be 10 or 11
" hey "
He got scared
" it's ok I'm here to help "
I sat down and said
" did you start those "
He nodded
" why "
" to get help "
" help help for what bud "
That's when a man appeared
" Ethan let's go "
I got up and I said
" I'm sorry sir but he's going to have to be questioned if he saw anything "
" no "
He reached for him and I moved him behind me
" I'm sorry sir but that's how this works you can go down to the police station later and get him "
I took him back over to where the cop car had pulled up. They had the fires out so we went back to the station. When we got out I said quietly
" please nothing till after lunch "

It was 12:30 and the bell went off thankfully we were all pretty much done. When we got there it was a massive office building we went in when we got to the floor there was a woman with a jacket over her and it was clear she was dead
" what happened "
" she just grabbed her fork and stabbed herself in the neck and well "
He gestured to her

Bobby started to say then a woman started to scratch at her wrist. Eddie ran over to her and sat her down soon we were all holding people back from doing stuff that would injure them or others. I remembered what Paul and Jud said about when they had a guy poison people for not giving them a tip. I quickly ran over to the table that had sandwiches I picked one up and sure enough, there was a silver liquid
" mad hatter "
I said and Eddie heard me
" what are you thinking about "
" they were poisoned funny enough this happened to the people down in Texas"
I pulled out my phone and called Owen
" hello "
" Hey umm you guys had a company that had umm mad hatter whatever right "
" yes why "
" I think someone did it here how long did it take to die down "
" about an hour or so it really depends on how much and how much they consumed "
" ok thanks "
A woman got the door open and started to walk away from the room that we were in didn't have windows so I figured if she found one she'd try to jump

I hung up and got her back in the room
" ok let's just sit right here ok "
After two hours finally, they were all back to normal.

Luckily it was time for me and Buck to get off. We were happy that we got to pick up Jake from his summer program early

He said as he handed Buck a piece of paper he looked at it then a smile grew on his face. At the stoplight, he showed me and it was a drawing of the three of us and Ember and above it, it said ' my chosen family '
" what was the assignment Jake "
" it was to draw our family and what they do "
" I see so that's why we have on our suits and capes "

He smiled it was sweet that he saw us that way and I could tell it really made Buck happy to see that.
