Bucks pov
When we finally go to the airport we just had to check one bag and then we waited to board. It was her in the middle of Chris and Jake by the Window. Me and Eddie we're across the ail. The entire time that I wasn't asleep I watched how she kept them entertained and calm. Finally, we landed Eddie and I was in a daze and Ruby somehow kept us all on track and together. We walked outside and Eddie hugged a woman and we all got loaded up in the back of her car. I looked over and I saw that Ruby was asleep. We went over a big bump and she woke up scared she looked all over the car then her eyes landed on me and she calmed down
" it's ok it's ok you're ok "
She smiled and closed her eyes again. I looked up and Eddie was staring at me and I shook my head no and he dropped it. We walked into the house and we were meet with strange looks till ruby walked through the door with the boys. She was looking down at them smiling then she looked up and a woman said
" Edmundo you moved on quickly "
She looked between Eddie and I and said
" oh no sorry miss were not together we are "
She put her head on my shoulder a little. It was late so we went to bed and I think we were all out in a matter of seconds.

I walked into the kitchen
" good morning "
" morning "
I said and I looked at the fridge and saw a note from Ruby
' went to get food for tonight '
" what's this "
" oh they went out to get stuff to make a big dinner tonight "
" ok well I'm going to go get Jake up "

Finally, three hours later they came through the door laugh with there arms full of bags. Eddie the boys and I decided to go to the park for them to get out there energy. We were sitting on a bench and he said
" so what's was that about in the car the other day is it about the accident when "
" no, it's older "
" what is it "
" she would not "
" Buck "
" she doesn't want him to know "
" know what "
" that she almost died ... bombs went off and their car got stuck in a hole and she almost died "
" she doesn't like to talk about that does she "
" no, and you more then anyone should understand that "
I got up because the way he was almost prying into her past made me mad
" come on Jake "
We walked back to the house and I and Eddie didn't talk much.
The next day we didn't talk either. It was just after lunch and I couldn't find Ruby I walked out to the porch and Eddie said
" where is she "
I shrugged and said
" she's ok she'll be back "
We sat down and started to talk a little.
