All previous concerns over Jason were replaced by Cooper. He was shaking and had his eyes shut tight, hugging his knees close to his chest.
Noah slowly knelt back down, whispering. "Cooper? Are you alright?"
                              No response.
Noah carefully reached out one hand. His concern were rising bit by bit, Jason having been forgotten.
Cooper flinched. He shied away from the other boy and somehow curled into an even tighter ball, still shivering.
Noah leaned back, giving him space. A minute or two later he stopped trembling and relaxed just a bit, opening his eyes but keeping his gaze on the ground.
                              "Cooper?"
Cooper glanced up at him. Noah saw that his eyes were dilated and his breath was shaky.
"Hey, hey, it's okay, everything's okay, we're gonna be okay." Noah tried to calm him down. "Breathe."
He watched Cooper look back to the floor and try to steady his breathing. It took him a few tries before he managed to return it to normal.
                              Noah stood up. "You good?"
Cooper nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine. Sorry." He shook his head and looked towards the doorway, standing as he did so. "You should probably go check on Jason."
