"Excuse me?"
He heard a scream and saw everyone running away from the prince, his eyes red and foggy. He smiled emotionlessly. Waves of earth rippled out from his feet, knocking everyone off-balance. Noah glanced towards the castle.
Alex and Ryan were gone.
He looked back towards Ky, who was robotically walking towards the castle along with Koko, Jason, Sean, and-
And Cooper.
Shit.
He pushed everyone one back, closer to the forest while keeping one eye on Cooper.
When was he hit?
"Noah-" April pulled him to one side as a bright thing flew past his head, lighting the ground behind him on fire. He spun to see Ryan with both hands on fire and a cruel grin on her face.
Oh. Well, alright.
Fighting broke out and Noah ducked under one of Ryan's literally flaming fists. "Well. That wasn't nice."
"Wasn't planning on being." She took another vicious swipe, driving him backwards.
"That's sad."
"For you, yes. For me, no."
"Rude."
"You're not welcome."
Noah glanced around. She was blocking him in. He turned and started to run, jumping over the wall of fire that was now the main source of light in the darkening area. This wasn't what he was used to. He started looking for April, squinting in the dim light.
His arm started to burn.
