April heard Noah's shaky breath. "You are in no state to take that thing down."
"Watch me."
"Noah- don't-" She grabbed his arm as he stood up, knife already in hand. "Tell me how to do it."
Before either of them could say anything else, they saw a figure running towards the gigantic bladed creature. Judging from the sword they were carrying, it was Cooper.
Noah watched him hold the sword out in front of him before swinging it horizontally. A shockwave traveled out from the tip, arcing out over the ground and striking the Watcher at its midsection. It froze, giving cooper enough time to climb onto its back and stab his sword through the iron-clad ribcage of the beast, clinging onto the blade as an anchor point so he didn't fall off the flailing death-robot.
"How the hell..." Noah muttered, amazed. Cooper slid off of the Watcher, taking his sword with him and quickly sheathing it. The rain had completely stopped and the only light came from the castle. Alex, Ryan, and Aki were nowhere to be found.
Everyone started running for the castle.
