Yoongi was in his car looking at the boy who was playing basketball, his heart broken in million pieces. He tracked down his parents and he was sitting now in his car looking at their house. He didn't hate his brother; it wasn't his fault that their parents decided to abandon him. He hated them. He wanted to know the reason why they left him, but at the same time, he didn't want to know. Why did they hate him so much? He wasn't cute enough as a baby? Did he cry to much? Did he do something wrong in his past life to deserve such a thing?
All these thoughts were hitting his mind like bullets and he couldn't think of anything else. Why did they keep his brother but not him? He punched the steering wheel in frustration, tears gathering in his eyes. Yes, he found his parents, however, did he really wanted to know all the answers or he should let it go and forget all the pain that was strangling him?
Maybe he could find some peace if he knew the truth. Why didn't they keep him too? What possible reason they could have had to leave him like he was nothing? So many questions were playing in his mind, that he didn't even know how his heart was going to keep beating in his chest before finally deciding to stop forever. How many blows a person can take before it all ends?
Yoongi shook his head. He couldn't even tell the members where he was going, not because they would pity him, because they would want to solve his problem. He couldn't allow them to get inside his dark mind. He never felt more pathetic than now, that was something he refused to believe or admit.
Yoongi sighted. Maybe he deserved to be abandoned, maybe he did something bad, or maybe, he was just another rotten soul thrown out in the garbage, like so many others... Like his members. Perhaps he deserved to be alone forever. What could he bring good in this world? Nothing. He was an ordinary person who committed so many sins just to keep himself alive. There were times when he wanted to drove off a cliff and end his life, but the thought of his friends missing him, needing him, was the only thing that kept him alive. Yoongi threw a last glance at the house before leaving. He didn't go directly home; he went to the bar. He wanted to drink. He wanted to get so hammered that his pathetic existence wouldn't seem so bad, even if he will pay hell next day.
Angie got out of the office to take a breath of fresh air; what Becky had told her was mind blowing to her. She hated the fact that they only met people who literally suck the life out of them. Was it so hard to be a decent person? Why people like that even existed? She knew it was ironic since she was in this line of work, but she would never intentionally try to hurt someone. It was stupid. It was stupider to think that someone would agree to stay with a monster like that, however, she thought that sometimes, leaving is not even an option. Fear makes people take bad choices, even if the answer is sometimes as easy as leaving.
She liked the night, everything seemed to be on pause. She looked up to the sky, the moon was shining through the stars. She thought of her family, if they managed to marry her to an unknown man, her light would have been turned off. She would've become resentful and petty, when all she wanted was to be happy with the man her heart chose, she didn't want to be another girl who lost fight with the system and ended up being abused, or worse, dead.
The moon was perfectly round and lit up, the sky was full of stars. The legend of the sun and the moon came in her mind as she watched it fascinated 'So the moon kissed the sun.' Imagine loving someone so much, that every day and night, you have to say goodbye after only seconds of seeing each other. Angie shook her head. No. Love was supposed to be easy as long as you were with the right person. The girls used to call her hopelessly romantic, she didn't care. She didn't want to live in an emotionless world full of hate. She would rather dream about her handsome prince that will come and sweep her off her feet, with or without the white horse. She wanted to stay faithful, to hold his hand through all the hardships and navigate through life with a smile on her face and a heart full of love, it wasn't too much to ask.
