Maite was in her room, tossing and turning. What had happened between her and Jin was playing in her mind. There was something that bothered her a lot. Jin was a very charming guy, he knew exactly what buttons to press, and the kiss they shared was more than perfect. The look in his eyes afterwards, that didn't sit too well with her. He was either seductive, funny, either really scary. She had seen enough men, heard enough stories to see this as a sign to stay as far away as possible. He was trouble, for both her mind and heart.
She sighted in exasperation and made her way to the living room. Jimin was there watching a movie. She scoffed, more like he was sleeping. She sat on the couch taking the remote form his hands.
Jimin jumped to his feet and yelled "I'm not sleeping."
Maite burst out laughing. "Sure. You were awake."
Jimin blushed and sat back on the couch. "Why are you awake?"
"I couldn't sleep. Hey, can I ask you something? Please be honest with me."
"Shoot." Jimin shook his head and grinned. "I mean, ask away."
"I'm not going to shoot you. We are friends right?"
Jimin shrugged and relaxed. "Sure. I guess we are."
"What's the deal with Jin?" she suddenly asked.
Jimin smiled and leaned on the couch. "Of course it's about Jin. What do you want to know?"
"What can you tell me?" she asked in a high pitch voice.
"He's a good man."
"That's it?"
"He is a smart logical person. Charming, funny, and sometimes when he is fired up, has a weird funny way of speaking."
"What's his weirdness?"
"Huh?"
"Since I'm attracted to him, I wonder what is wrong with him."
Jimin laughed. "We are all weird in some way. He's ok, just don't piss him off."
"Too bad. I like that part very much."
"Why are you asking about me?" Asked Jin coming out from the shadow. "Are you hitting on Jimin?"
Jimin shook his head. Jin wasn't exactly friendly when he was pissed off. Looking at Maite and then back at Jin, he got a sense that Jin had something for her, and that made him territorial, and with territory came jealousy.
Maite got up from the couch and sat on Jimin's lap, wrapping her arm around his neck. Jimin stared at Jin, his body was stiff as a board and he waited to be punched any second.
"Hey there Armani. Don't tell me your jealous."
Jin gritted his teeth and sat on the couch. He grabbed her by the arm and forced her to sit in his lap. "This is where you belong. Goodnight Jimin." He said without taking his eyes off her.
Jimin wanted very bad not to intervene between the two, yet, knowing Jin he was going to do something, or say something that would freak her out, he had to stay. "I'm good. You can carry on."
"I said goodnight." He glared at Jimin.
"And I said I'm staying. We don't want Maite to have a bad impression of you, now do we?" threatened Jimin. He didn't want Maite to be scared of him.
"She should know who we are by now. Don't you kitten?"
Maite pushed Jin away and got up to her feet. "Armani, I don't know if you are bipolar or a low key psychopath, but don't you dare treat me like I'm your property. We are not together, I can do whatever the hell I want." She glanced at Jimin and an evil smile came across her features. She took a step towards him and kissed him. Jimin didn't have a chance to react, as Jin grabbed Maite and threw her over his shoulders.
