Will they follow her rules?
He was freaking out, and Jin, never freaked out. All eyes were on him.
"We got an email. A really weird one." He said in a high pitch voice.
"What does it say?" Yoongi murmured sitting next to Namjoon.
"Dear Ban...
Angie's heart stopped in her chest. She was in front of a beautiful gazebo, surrounded by tiny specks of light. Yoongi was watching her every move, how the light made her hair shine, her eyes were sparkly like the stars in the sky. He was completely mesmerized by her, she had this glow in her that made her almost ethereal. His heart ache every time he looked at her. It was something about her that made him comfortable with himself, it was a feeling that he didn't want to lose. She gave him a sense of belonging and hope.
"I thought you might like it." Yoongi said, proud of himself for the smile she had.
"It's beautiful." Angie wrapped her arms around his waist. "Thank you."
"You make me feel special." Yoongi whispered in her ear.
Angie took a step backwards. "Everyone should feel special."
"No. It's not like that. I think I was meant to meet you."
"I feel that too. What were the odds for you to be right here?"
Yoongi laughed. "Faith has a twisted way. Can I ask how you came to work with Natasha? If you don't mind." He didn't want to push her away, he needed to know the truth, she didn't seem the type to go for this line of work.
"Of course not." Angie sat on the bench and looked at him. "I hope you won't change your opinion of me."
"Why would I do that?" Yoongi sighted. "I'm the last person on earth to judge."
"I don't think you are as bad as you think you are."
"How do you know? I have done many bad things, things that I'm ashamed of."
"We'll do what we have to do for our survival."
"You are well adjusted."
"Yeah." Angie shrugged. "So about your question. My parents come from a very wealthy background. Basically, they are filthy rich."
His eyes widen at her words. "Why are you working with Natasha then?"
Angie covered her face with her hands, how could he understand that she left the comfort of her own home to face the uncertainty, the unknown just so she can chose the person she loves? "My grandfather wanted to me to marry someone I don't know. I ran away from home, because I couldn't let someone else make that choice for me." She sighted. "You might think I'm stupid."
"No. Actually I think it was really brave for you to do that. Jimin was in a similar position. He ran away from home too."
"Aww... How about you?"
Yoongi's heart stopped for a second. The last thing he wanted was for her to look at him with pity, he had to say it though. He couldn't keep it away from her, not if he wanted to get to know her better. "My parents abandoned me. My story is nothing special. They left me when I was a baby at an orphanage. I got to see others getting adopted but it was never me. Growing up was not easy either. I didn't want to talk, and nobody wanted a grumpy child. So one day I ran away. I met the guys and the rest is history." he said breathless. He avoided her eyes for a couple of seconds, afraid of what he might see in them.
Angie looked at him, the sadness in his eyes was unbearable. She wrapped her arms around him, and she buried her face in the crook of his neck. "We all have stories we don't like to share. Thank you for trusting me enough to let me hear yours. I know it wasn't easy."
Yoongi took her hands into his and stared into her eyes. There was no sight of pity, but something else. "What do you feel about me?" He finally asked, a lump forming in his throat. He didn't want to know her answer, yet, he needed to hear it. He had to know what his options were, and how he can fight for her.
Angie smiled and touched his cheek. "I feel a lot of things when I'm with you. I feel an entire zoo in my tummy. I want to be with you. I don't know what future holds for us, but I would like to hold your hand through it all."
Yoongi smiled and kissed her. Her scent, her taste, intoxicated him up to the point he felt like he was loosing his mind. For Angie, time seemed like it stopped, she could only feel him... She could only focus on how soft he felt against her mouth, how addictively he invaded all her senses. His fingers sank into her skin, with a mind of their own. It didn't matter what happened around them, all he could feel, all he could sense, it was her.
He broke the kiss and hugged her. He didn't want to let go of her, afraid that it was all just a dream. "I like the feeling of having you so close to me. For some reason, you became a part of me. I want this to work. I want to try it. You make me feel alive. You are the only light in my gray life."
"Yoongi..." she whispered his name, a tear running on her cheek. "I want to try it too. I don't want to ask myself what if. It might work, or it might not, I don't know."
"I've done a lot of things angel. Bad things. I can't erase them, I can only try to be better for you."
Angie wiped her tears. "I left home in search of something I never thought I would find, and here you are. I'm not going to ask you to change. If this, whatever we have, or are it works, we need to be honest with each other, and not change just to fit in some box."
"Angel, you are the breath of fresh air I was waiting for. Thank you."
