Complete.
Will they follow her rules?
He was freaking out, and Jin, never freaked out. All eyes were on him.
"We got an email. A really weird one." He said in a high pitch voice.
"What does it say?" Yoongi murmured sitting next to Namjoon.
"Dear Ban...
The girls arrived at the bar and before heading inside their office, Maite asked Minho to bring them a bottle of tequila and some glasses.
"Do you have the blueprint of the museum?" Natasha asked. Maite cleared the desk to spread the blueprint all over it.
"Do you think it's easier to steal it while they move it?" Asked Angie.
"No. If we do that, there will be guns involved and I don't have a death wish." Natasha answered. "Now let's see how we can do this."
Before she had a chance to say anything else, Minho entered the office with a bottle and glasses.
"Thank you, Minho," Angie said, blushing.
"My pleasure," he replied, winking at her.
Maite chuckled. "Someone has a crush."
Angie stuck her tongue out at her, and Maite did the same thing back. Natasha shook her head. "I swear, sometimes I feel like I'm your mother."
The rest of the girls laughed at the thought, even though they had to admit, sometimes it was exactly like that. Natasha was like a mother to them, not to mention all the protection that came with her friendship. To be a woman and survive in a male-dominated scene was not an easy task. You had to be powerful, trust your strength and actions, never slip up, and never give them a chance to find any type of weakness.
"Back to the business at hand," Natasha said, her tone shifting to serious. "Based on this blueprint, I know exactly what we need to do. First, we need to train. Let's go, ladies, we have a long day ahead."
As they prepared to leave, Minho caught Natasha's eye and gave her a nod. "Good luck," he said, his voice low and sincere.
"Thanks, Minho," she replied, appreciating his support.
The girls gathered their gear and followed Natasha out. The atmosphere was a mix of determination and camaraderie. They knew the challenges ahead, but they also knew they had each other's backs.
"Alright, let's start with the basics," Natasha said as they reached their training area. "We need to be in top shape for this heist. No mistakes."
Angie, still blushing from Minho's wink, tried to focus. "Got it, boss."
Maite grinned. "Let's show them what we're made of."
As they began their training, Natasha couldn't help but think about Namjoon. His presence lingered in her mind, but she pushed it aside. There was no room for distractions. They had a job to do, and failure was not an option.
Jin was in the office with Namjoon, going through some cases they recently received. There was a request for a heist at the same museum, but for the Mona Lisa.
"I don't understand why anyone would try to steal this painting. It's not even real," Jin said, looking through the emails and shaking his head at how dumb it sounded to him.
"Insurance money. For the museum and the visitors, of course, the painting must be deemed as real," Namjoon rolled his eyes at the irony.
"Do you want to do it?" Jin asked, eyeing him suspiciously.
"Nope. I don't want to run into the Phoenix. I'm still waiting to see what they are going to steal."
"Do you think it's this painting?"
"Hardly. There has to be something else they want."
"Okay. We have some free hours, what do you want to do?"
"I don't know. Call the boys, see what they want to do."
Jin called the rest of the boys, and Jungkook came up with the brilliant idea to go out.
"Let's hit the town! We need a break from all this planning," Jungkook suggested, his eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Sounds good to me," Taehyung agreed. "We could use some fun."
"Alright, let's do it," Namjoon said, standing up and stretching. "But remember, we need to stay sharp. We can't afford to let our guard down."
As they headed out, the mood lightened. They joked and laughed, enjoying the rare moment of relaxation. But in the back of Namjoon's mind, thoughts of Natasha lingered. He couldn't shake the feeling that their paths were destined to cross again, and he needed to be ready.
"Maybe," Namjoon admitted with a grin. "But tonight, let's just enjoy ourselves."
"Agreed," Jin said, clapping him on the back. "Let's make the most of it."
As they ventured into the night, the anticipation of their next encounter with the Phoenix gang hung in the air. They knew the stakes were high, but for now, they were determined to enjoy the moment and strengthen their bond as a team.
