Chapter 40: One cries, one smiles. 🔞

The Bangtan's, and what remained from the Phoenix squad, arrived at the house where the girls were held. They got out from the car, sneaked up to the house. The door suddenly flied open and the girls got out. Namjoon and the rest of the team stared at them.

"How?" Namjoon asked at a loss of other words. He looked at them, except the fact that they were dirty they didn't seemed to be harmed.

One of the girls walked up to him. "They let us go. When they took us they said that they will only keep us here until they draw out the queen."

"We don't know who the queen is, however there are some guys tied up in the building. I think he said it's a peace offering."

Namjoon looked at Jin, who nodded. "I'm going in with Jin. Becky call the chief of the police and tell him everything."

"Oh no... Natasha." Kara gasped. "She's in danger."

"She's fine." Namjoon replied. "She can take care of herself."

Kara doubted very much. If Kane was Seung-won, he was coming after her. It was the only explanation she had for everything that had happened so far.

Becky took a couple of steps away from the house and called Woosung to explain what they found. Woosung told her they have twenty minutes to leave the premises, he will take care of the rest.

Namjoon and Jin entered the house cautiously, with their guns draw out. There were four men tied up. Namjoon took the gag off one man. "What's going on?"

The man laughed. "He waited for you to make your move. We will take everything on us so he can walk as a free man."

"Why?" Jin asked. He couldn't see the reason why would someone stage something like this to perfection.

"This is bigger than any of us. He will take all the power and change the world." The man said with sparkly eyes.

"This doesn't make any sense." Jin whispered. "You think it's connected to Natasha?"

Namjoon shrugged. "Possibly. I don't know."

"We need to warn her. We can't just walk away from this, no matter what she did."

Before Namjoon could reply, Becky stormed in the house. "We need to leave. Woosung is on his way and he doesn't want to see either of us here. The girls are outside."

Namjoon nodded and they left the premises, not before making sure Woosung arrived and the girls were safe.

Three days had passed since the incident with the kidnapped girls. Three days since nobody saw Natasha, and Minho was more that worried. Angie was constantly asking about her, yet, he couldn't answer, he didn't know. He looked for her at her house, at the bar she didn't come either. No matter what anyone said, he knew she was hurt, even though she promised she was fine. He couldn't stand the silence anymore so he pressed the subject with the girls.

"What happened that night?" Minho asked Maite, as she was alone in the office.

"I already told you. You think my answer is going to change if you ask me one more time?"

"I'm worried."

"I'm worried too." Maite yelled. Her emotions were everywhere, and the fact that Natasha bolted was not helping anyone. Even Shownu was searching for her.

"I don't see you do anything." He yelled back.

"Look, I understand that you are worried and disappointed with us, but we are trying our best. We will find her."

"I hope so." He did hope for the best. He was worried about the countless enemies she had made over the years. He didn't want to go to the morgue to recognize her body.
