Jin was in his room looking through some jobs as they haven't done anything since the girls appeared. His mind was most definitely not on what he was doing. His thoughts kept running back at Maite. Her mother was not in her right minds, his mother on the other hand would have loved her. His feelings for her only grew with time, he was attached to her, maybe even a bit obsessed. He always tried to keep his emotions in check, especially when Minho was around. He had to admit, he was jealous. If he could, he would keep her locked up in his room forever. He knew he couldn't do that. He wanted their relationship to be a healthy one, not a toxic one.
He realized he only thought about what he wanted, he never once asked her or Taehyung what they wanted. Taehyung's point of view was very important for him, even though he suspected that Maite and his brother were good friends. He turned off the laptop and went to look for him.
Taehyung was in the living room with Jaina, watching a movie. They looked so cute together, he approved of her, she was a nice girl. "Jaina, can I steal my brother for a second?"
Jaina smiled gently and got up. "Sure thing." She replied chipper. "I'll leave you two alone, I have some homework to do anyway."
Jin waited for Jaina to leave, and sat next to his brother. "What's up?" Tae asked turning the TV off.
"I wanted to talk to you about Maite."
"Ok." Tae silently prayed to be good news, he didn't want to hear about them breaking up. Since they returned from her parents house, Jin was distant, he seemed like he couldn't find his place.
"Do you think Maite is suitable for me?"
Tae smiled. "I think Maite is exactly what you need." He actually believed what he said. He didn't team up with Jimin and Jungkook if he thought otherwise. "Why do you ask? Did something happen?"
Jin shook his head and leaned on the couch. "I was just thinking if our parents would have liked her."
Tae patted him on his shoulder. "I'm positive they would have, what's not to like?"
"True. Trust me, I tried to find something, I came empty handed."
"Not a good idea to look for any default settings. How do you feel about her?"
"I love her. I don't want to be without her."
"Than marry her." Taehyung suggested. That was the only outcome he wanted for his brother.
"You think I should do it?"
Taehyung casually shrugged. He could barely contain his happiness. "If you think you love her that much, and you can't imagine life without her... I don't know what's stopping you."
Jin took a deep breath. Tae was right. He loved her, he didn't want to let her go, so what was keeping him away from doing it? He suddenly looked at Tae and got up. "Come with me. I need you for something."
"Where are we going?" He asked while getting up.
"You'll see. First stop, we're taking Maite."
"And the second stop?"
Jin winked. "Top secret."
After Jin and Tae picked up Maite from her home, picked up some flowers and he drove to the cemetery where their parents were buried.
Taehyung started crying upon seeing the tomb stone of their parents. He fell to the ground, taking out the weeds that grew since the last time they've been that. "I've missed you." he choked on his words as more tears ran on his cheeks.
