When you die you expect to go either in hell, either in heaven. The place she was stuck in, it was neither. It was all black, no speck of light whatsoever. Natasha tried to move as little as possible, afraid her wounds would hurt her. She didn't feel anything. No pain, no coldness, just heartbreak and regrets.

"After everything I did, if this is hell... I take it." she whispered. Although an eternity of blackness overall, did not sounded too bad.

She started to think what she had left behind. Her sister was taken care of, either by the girls, either by Taehyung, even Minho would take part in that. She was afraid that Jaina would hate her forever and now she had no way of redeeming herself.

Angie was with Yoongi, and she couldn't be more happy for her. You could tell Yoongi will treat her like a princes just by watching him look at her. She thought, if Angie will play her cards well, he will worship the ground she walks on.

Maite and Becky, with them the situation didn't look good, but it didn't look bad either. She could only hope that they will get to have a better fate than her. Being cooped up in a place she didn't know, with darkness all around her, will only give her time to think about the things she didn't get to do, things she couldn't change anymore.

She wanted to travel, she wanted to be free, she wanted to escape the need to protect the others. They will have to find a way to protect themselves. She was tired long before she lost her life, she was constantly tired to put up a facade around others. She was tired of keeping everything bottled up. Maybe Kane was right, she was just a woman, but still, as every woman she possessed a power she only found in a difficult situation. Even though Kane did not rape her, not for lack of trying, he left a permanent scar on her. She was afraid to let anyone touch her.

He would hit her repeatedly if she didn't comply to his training. He would bring people for her to kill them, he wanted her to become the greatest assassin to ever lived. She didn't expected him to be alive after she shot him three times in the chest, but somehow the guy had more lives than a cat. She ran away, she went back home only to find her father seriously sick. She had promised him that she will look after Jaina.

When her mother tracked her down, she made Natasha promise to her that she will look after Minho and his brother. At first she was hesitant, how in the world could she be able to pull that off? Taking care of other humans it wasn't something she done before. Now, she couldn't imagine her life without Jaina or Minho in it. For her, they were the most important people in the world.

Natasha remembered how she met Becky. She was in the emergency room, when her doctor called her. The doctor was used to call Natasha whenever a woman turned up at the hospital brutally manhandled. She took Becky under her wing and convinced her to press charges. Woosung helped a lot. He would make sure the guys stayed there locked up, away from their victims. A former girl she helped, opened a shelter for abused women, children, even men. Natasha would always fund the shelter. She experienced first hand how any sort of abuse, psychical or mental, could change one's life, she wanted to help as many people as she could.

With Maite there was a different story, she laughed at the memory. She was caught breaking into a bank system. She quickly learned that Maite was a brilliant hacker, and when she asked her how did they caught her, Maite simply said that she was bored. Natasha liked her answer. She needed a hacker in her team, so she did everything that was possible to get her off her charges. The best decision she took.

With Angie, it was different. Becky was the first to meet her and recommend her. Natasha was weary of hiring her, she didn't have any special skills and the girl was low key terrified of her. It took Natasha a long time to get used to Angie, as she wasn't someone she normally hanged out with. She was sweet, nice, she didn't fit into her crazy world, until her grandfather had sent one of his goons to take her back home. In that moment she realized that Angie needed protection too and she was more than happy to provide it for her.

Natasha rubbed her temples and sighted. What good did it made to try to protect people, or help them, if her soul was not pure? She always thought that it could atone some of her sins. She laid on the floor and closed her eyes. She wasn't tired psychically, but she was mentally exhausted. She had an eternity to blame herself.
