It's already morning when I open my eyes. I can see the sunlight peeking through heavy curtains and hear the birds tweeting from the outside. It seems like a lovely day.

I sit up from the soft bed. I can't remember when and where I fell asleep. Still, I am sure I did not put myself to bed. Perhaps, Lucas carried me once again to the bed. I unconsciously smile from that thought.

To have someone to take care of you, it feels really good.

I look around the room to check if Lucas is here. Last night when I woke up, he was sitting on the couch while playing flappy bird on his phone. However, Lucas is not here. Instead, I see a container of food, a glass of milk and a handwritten note on the drawer near the bed.

I reach out and see that the big container has chocolate jelly inside. I take the note and read it.

Lilly,

I found this chocolate jelly in the fridge last night. It is very delicious. Be sure to eat it and drink your milk too.

I will be at the study. We will be having a meeting about the attack last night. Come and join us when you're ready. I assigned someone to accompany you to the study, he will be waiting outside your door.

Take your time, this meeting will probably be long.

p.s. It was me who ate the portion of your jelly.

His handwriting is neat. But, Jelly huh? Seems like he loves jelly. He even mentioned it twice in his letter.

I imagine the serious looking Alpha eating chocolate jelly and playing flappy bird. I can't help but to chuckle at the thought.

The clock on the dresser says that it is already seven in the morning. This startles me a bit because I never woke up this late before. Usually, my day starts at five thirty in the morning. Maybe it is because of the interruption of my sleep last night? Or maybe.. it's because this bed I slept at is really soft?

I decide to take a shower first before eating. I walk to the bathroom to find a neatly folded set of t-shirt and shorts. Looking at the sizes, it is probably Lucas'.

I should return home and get my stuff since I'm probably going to be living here from now on.

This bathroom really looks nice. Everything is so clean and the hot shower is superb. This room that I am staying in must be one of the guest rooms that the pack is maintaining for some important guests. A smile tugs on my face when I think that I might be staying in this beautiful room here from now on. Ha! Perks of being the mate of the Alpha, huh?

After cleaning myself, I ate the chocolate jelly and drank the milk Lucas prepared for me. It's a little sweet, but with the fresh milk's combination, it tastes great. It is just, I am not so sure about eating chocolate jelly for breakfast.

Since I am having a good time, I almost forget that there is someone who's waiting for me outside the door. Thirty minutes has already passed by the time I open the door and I see Tristan who is patiently waiting.

Lucas asked his beta to wait for me while he is conducting an important pack meeting?

Tristan notices me and gives me a good look. His eyebrows are slightly arched, like he is quite surprised with something. Afterwards, he gives me a small smile.

"Good morning, Luna. You had a good breakfast?"

Wow. I am not used to someone being so nice to me.
