Elliot was feeling extreme annoyance which was a stark contrast to his previous blissful self.

For the first time, Iris sent him a text message. And for the first time, she would buy him a dinner. Elliot was very happy and excitedly went down to fetch her.

However, she wasn't alone when he found her. Standing beside her was Lucas, his father.

Elliot frowned and was about to pull Iris while ignoring him. However, Iris grabbed his arm and excitedly informed him, "Hubby! Your relative is here so we can have dinner together!"

Thus, the three of them were now sitting at a crowded hotpot restaurant. Iris was sitting beside Elliot while Lucas was sitting on the chair in front of them. The three of them, especially the two men, were so beautiful that they made the crowded restaurant so quiet the moment they entered.

Iris, on the other hand, ignored everyone's stares as she excitedly enumerated her orders to the waiter. She expertly named a lot of dishes without even looking at the menu.

"This is the best hotpot in town. I'm surprised we didn't have to line for a table." She cheerfully told the two.

However, she failed to consider that there was a crowd waiting at the door when they got there. It was just, the people moved on their own to give them way when they walked in the restaurant.

Lucas raised his brow at her when he heard this. However, he didn't say a thing.

"Do you want to order anything?" Iris asked as she looked back and forth the two handsome guys.

In fact, Iris felt like she was in heaven for taking the two most handsome guys, probably in the world, out for dinner. Her womanly heart swelled with pride just thinking about it.

Elliot placed his hand on top of her thigh before leaning to her ears and saying, "I'll eat anything you chose."

Lucas seemed to see something interesting as he leaned on his back and gave them a smirk. As usual, however, Elliot ignored him.

"Uhm?" Iris asked Lucas. In fact, she still didn't know the name of the handsome guy in front of her. It wasn't hard to ask for his name. However, his disposition made Iris feel sheepish.

"Do they happen to serve chocolate jelly here?" Lucas softly asked.

Elliot stopped playing with the ends of Iris' hair when he heard him.

"Oh.. I don't think they have it.." Iris hesitantly answered. "Do you like it?" She asked him.

"A little bit." Lucas answered and Iris heard a short chuckle from Elliot. Her eyes widened in realization.

"I haven't seen a store selling chocolate jelly here.. but they sell very good gelato in the other street. Let's go there after eating?" Iris offered.

Lucas looked at her and slowly gave her a smile. "Sure." He answered.

Soon, their food arrived.

Iris' eyes turned wide when she saw the quality of the food they were serving. She had been eating in this restaurant for years but she never saw them serve this kind of high quality food. The meat, the vegetables and even the spices they served looked top notch.

"Ah? Did you guys change suppliers?" She curiously asked.

"Ah.. Yes.. Yes, Miss. We did." The owner, who personally went out to serve the dishes, told her.

"That's awesome!" Iris said happily as her eyes twinkled when she looked at the high quality dishes.

Iris was so focused on the food that she didn't see Lucas staring at her.. and then raised his brows as if he was judging her.

"Love, how do you cook this?" Elliot asked as he curiously clamped a taro through his chopsticks.

Iris chuckled and took the taro from him. Then, she dropped it in the boiling soup.

"This is the first time I'm eating a hotpot. Please help me." Elliot suddenly asked while giving Iris puppy eyes. Iris' eyes widened and she unconsciously patted his hair.

Lucas, on the other hand, took out his phone and proudly snapped a photo of them.

.........

It was a surreal feeling for Iris. She was walking in the crowded street with the god-like men on each side of her. She couldn't help but constantly glimpse at the both of them. They looked irresistibly alluring even with a cup of gelato on their hands. She really wanted to take a photo with them and post it in her Inst*gram account. For sure, everyone will droll on their handsomeness.

"When will you return?" Elliot suddenly asked. However, Lucas just gave him a glance and didn't answer.

"So you were really kicked out." Elliot stated while giving a little chuckle. Lucas stopped walking and raised his brow on him.

"Wait for your turn to be kicked out." Lucas didn't deny it and, instead, proudly smiled. Then, he challengingly looked at Elliot and then on Iris. Elliot held Iris' hand a little tighter.

"I'll go. Lilly will probably forgive me now." Lucas stated as he smirked. He looked like he was enjoying whatever the situation he was in.

Elliot nodded to him before saying, "Father."

Iris eyes widened as she repeatedly blinked. Then, she curiously said, "Is your name father? That's a cool name!" She laughed.

"Can I call you dad? That will be a cute nickname!" Iris merrily asked which elicited a chuckle from Lucas.

"Alright." He smirked at Iris and the latter felt like a child being doted upon by an elder.

"Although you are a slo-" Lucas started to say but stopped as he felt a threatening aura directed to him.

As a result, he merely said, "Heh. Always the impertinent pup."

Elliot was expressionless and didn't say anything.

"I'll see you again soon, Iris." Lucas winked at Iris as he started to walk away.
