Not Useless Anymore?

Like the first Alpha King, King Eleazar?

The legend says he's both a sorcerer and a werewolf. Legend says he is so powerful the world trembles under his feet. He was basically the overlord of the whole werekind.

A sorcerer and werewolf at the same time. Isn't Lucas like that now? Why does my heart twitch at the thought?

"Close your eyes, be one with the energy." I hear Lucas say.

"Only you can feel the energy inside you. Only you can sense it."

This seems similar with that time when we were also in the field. That time, I was asked by Lucas to look through if I can see those colors.

Right. That time, I also heard a voice which instructed me. The voice which I kept on hearing ever since the day Lucas returned.

Feel the wind. Be one with the wind.

Wind.

Is that my energy?

Only you can know which is your energy.

That's right. Only I know. Only I can sense it.

But, I don't have a wolf. Does it make sense if I think that wind is my element? Last time, I really felt that I was connected with the wind.

That's right. I think me and the wind are really connected.

My energy is the wind.

Wind is mine.

Suddenly, I feel an overflowing green energy surrounds me. It's not hesitant at all as it quickly approaches me and encircles around me.

This is the wind?

I can control it?

The green energy around me looks like it's dancing. Like they are waiting for me. Like they are happy to see me. But.. can I really control them?

They seem like they're urging me to give an order.

Then? Uhm. I'll try it. Here it comes.

Can you come to me? I whisper in my heart, worrying that the wind elements might not hear me.

However, my worry seems for naught.

Immediately, the green energy rushes forward to me as if it is on a race. Then from my feet until it surrounds my whole body.

My entire body suddenly feels cool and refreshed. The wind circles around me and I feel like it is tenderly caressing me. This.. I feel safe. I let it engulf me.

Right now I feel that I am one with the wind. I feel that... I am home.

"My love, wake up." A soft voice whispers in my ear.

Lucas?

I open my eyes to find him but what I see is a large whirlpool surrounding me. It's very big, like a tornado. The wind spikes are sharp. It ruthlessly attacks the earth around me. I immediately panic.

Suddenly, I feel warm arms around me.

"It's okay. Relax. Order them to calm down." Lucas whispers to me.

"Close your eyes. Tell them to calm down. They will listen to you." He continues.

I close my eyes and feel wind energy excitedly jumping around and encircling me. They look like young and 0energetic children who are excited to see their parents after a long time. Anyone who sees this will have a hard time connecting it with the sharp blades of wind surrounding me.

Calm down. I whisper to them.

Immediately, the wind energy which was dancing around slowed their action. However, I feel like they are feeling aggrieved.

I wasn't scolding you. I just don't want to hurt anyone or destroy the field. I softly explain to them.

Immediately, the wind energy surrounds me like a warm embrace. It's like it is telling me it understands.

Thank you.

I open my eyes and see that the surrounding area is peaceful. The strong wind dissipated. Only leaving a soft gust of cool wind around us.

Lucas' arms are still around me. I turn around to look at him and my heart shakes when I see his image.

His face is still otherworldly handsome. But his pupils are bright red. Around his body is a faint red light. The red energy is surrounding him as if they are protecting him. His face is full of tenderness.

"Lucas.."

He smiles and engulfs me in a hug.

"Luna." He softly whispers. It is his first time to address me in such a way. But, there is something familiar with the way he said it. It feels like he's calling my name instead of a title.

"Lucas.. the wind energy. I think I can sense it." I tell Lucas, trying to explain what happened earlier.

Lucas, on the other hand, just chuckled.

"Sense? You can order them around at your will."

I looked around again and only now that I noticed a devastating scene. Surrounding us, all of the grasses were uprooted. There is also a big and deep circle around us. I think that was caused by the whirlpool.

"Ah. I.. I didn't mean..And.. I don't have a wolf.. How can I control the wind energy?" I ask Lucas in confusion. Earlier, he told us that using the energy means using the power of your wolf while in human form. But I don't have a wolf so how can I use its power?

Lucas looks at me. Conflict is also all over his face. Like, he is also confused about it. Although I have a feeling that he is confused at something different. However, that was only for a fraction of a second.

"Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure we will figure it out." He reassures me.

"Okay." I smiled. "I am not useless anymore, right Lucas?"

Whatever has happened, I am very happy that I can somehow use this power.

"You never were useless." He softly rebukes me. Anger flashed through his eyes.

"D*mn. Extremely powerful Alpha already makes the whole wolfkind worry. Now we learned that you also have an overpowered Luna. Can you just claim the whole world and anoint yourselves as our king and queen?" Alpha Sebastian says loudly from the side. Although he is teasing, there seems to be a trace of seriousness in his eyes.

I am also powerful?

I look at Lucas and see that he returns to normal. His eyes are not glowing red anymore and the red light shield is gone. He is looking at Alpha Sebastian with a raised eyebrow. At first I thought that he would laugh at Alpha Sebastian's joke. It is true that he is the descendant of alpha kings but everyone knows that werewolf monarchy is a thing of the past. However, instead of laughing it off, Lucas turns his eyes on me and answers with all seriousness.

"Whatever my queen wishes, it shall be done."
