Mute Mate

Chapter 23

~Y/N POV~

Taehyung just ran with me in his arms all the way to this field on a hill that I've never been to before but I think this is still on pack lands. I don't think Taehyung would of taken me any further than that.

The sights were beautiful here and I think he must of just rushed here because he wanted to get away from what our parents just told us.

It's a little scary to think about but I hope to god it doesn't repeat itself. It can't. Just because I screamed doesn't mean that he will die right? It probably means someone else in the pack is going to die, which is unfortunate since I don't want anyone to die. Why do I have to be like this?

I could tell Taehyung is uneasy about the whole thing, he hasn't said a word since we left the house and came here. Instead we've sat on the grass while I look at the view around us and Taehyung sits behind me with his chest pressed against my back and his legs on each side of my body, and his arms wrapped protectively around my shoulders. I couldn't move but I didn't mind, I liked this position since he was keeping me warm and his had his chin on my shoulder so I could feel his breath on my neck that every now and then he would place soft kisses which I found soothing.

"It's not going to happen again Y/n. I won't let it happen again." Taehyung

I don't want it to happen either but if it does there's nothing we can do to stop it. Though I have a feeling it wouldn't be exactly like last time right?

"I have a plan Y/n but I need your consent too. As my mate I need to ask you something, for permission." Taehyung

I frowned in confusion. Consent to what? I hope it's not something stupid.

Taehyung nuzzled his nose up amongst my hair just behind my ear taking deep breaths and releasing a satisfied hum before he spoke but in whisper.

"I want to mark you as mine but I can't do it unless you consent." Taehyung

My eyes widen and I lean back from Taehyungs head to turn my head to look back at him as he only gives me a innocent look with a smile.

But to do that is like getting married??

We're not suppose to do stuff like that until he takes over as alpha because of his rank. What about that?

"I know you have a lot of questions Y/n but I've thought about it a lot. Yes in would include us being intimate and such and I would have to ask permission from my father to take over as alpha earlier than planned but I think it's for the best. I'm not fully asking to mate with you just yet since I would do it a different way but I'm just wondering if you would let me mark you earlier than what we had intended." Taehyung

Oh I don't know. Some people in the pack don't even know that Taehyung and I are together and to go through the whole marking thing means we would have to actually have sex and that's a little faster than what I had planned.

I mean I want to but it's very soon.

I hope he's not wanting to only do this just because he doesn't want anyone to die and thinks this would make things better.

"Y/n I know what you're thinking but I also what to do this to show you how much I love you." Taehyung

I silently gasp and cover my mouth when he said that. He hasn't told me he loves he before, not like this.

"Yes Y/n, I love you. I love you so much that it hurts sometimes I want to spend the rest of my life with you how ever long that will be." Taehyung

I reached around to grab his face, one hand on each cheek and pulled him closer to my face.

I didn't want him to say that. He's not going to die.

I press my forehead to his and he closes his eyes as I do the same. I felt this was an intimate moment between the two of us. I couldn't tell him in words how I love him too but I'm hoping that this action wil tell him that I love him too. Just like the action I do when I rub my face on his chest to tell him I missed him. This could be a new one to tell him I love him, always and forever.

"I could stay like this all day." Taehyung

He speaks still with his eyes closed well I think.

I open my eyes but instead of finding his eyes closed I come to find that actually he had his eyes open. For how long I don't know but I couldn't resist the urge to kiss him from the way he was looking at me. So I kissed him, pulling his face closer to mine and closing that very small gap between us.

He responded immediately by kissing me back and grabbed my waist to turn me around so I could straddle his lap while kissing him. Taehyung growled into the kiss, telling me he's getting so into this that what he does next surprises me that I could gasp.

Taking firm hold of my sides does he turn me around to lay me down on the grass and hover above me all while not removing his lips from mine. Admittedly I was getting turned on from how he dominates my mouth the way he was. I mean we've kissed before but this is different. This was getting heated and we're in the middle of a grassy field, sure we're alone but someone could come along and see us. But right now I'm too in the moment to care.

Taehyung pulls away, breathing heavily but slumps down to bury his face in the crook of my neck, feeling his hot tongue lick it's way up and come to stop by my ear with a nibble to my earlobe and then back down to the crook of my neck again as I run my hands through his hair from the back of his head.

"I so wish I could mark you right now, but I'll wait." Taehyung

I actually want him to mark me but here is not the time or place to do such a intimate thing out in the open like this.

Taehyung pushes himself up above me but stares down at me underneath him making me feel so small.

"I'll plan something to make it special. That is if you want me to?" Taehyung

I do. I really want him to.

Though I laughed internally when I seen how his eyes lit up with Joy suddenly and he bends down to repeatedly kiss my face over and over again.

"I promise I'll make it special Y/n. Now I just have to speak with my dad." Taehyung

He kisses my lips once again and leans his forehead against mine while I hold his head to keep him in place to express again that I love him. I do love him, I always have and always will. A rumble erupted from his chest before hearing his deepened voice again.

"I love you too, my little mute." Taehyung
