Mute Mate

Chapter 32

~YERI POV~

It's been weeks since I found Sehun and he is now my mate. We mated each other, he is mine and I am his. He had showed me what it was like to be treated right as a mate should. I'm not saying that Taehyung treated me badly, he treated me very well in the beginning until he found his own mate. So with that I'm thankful that what has happened between us happened. I wouldn't of found Sehun if wat happened between us didn't happen.

I always thought I would never have a mate of my own, that is what I was told and Taehyung was told that too which is why we were paired together but look at us now. I am with my own mate and he has his own. I couldn't be happier and to be honest I wish him all the best with Y/n. I hold no grudges towards him or her as I'm very happy with my mate even if he can have a bad temper but never has be lost his temper with me, even the slightest of grip that is too strong for me to handle does he feel bad. He's softy for me but he wont show it around his friends who look at him as a leader of the rogues.

Sehun is like that, even if we move house to house a lot through the woods we're never too far away from Taehyung pack, they are determined to stay close even Sehun. He wants to kill the alpha and take it over so he would be alpha of the pack. To set out on the plan that his great, great, great grandfather set out to do but died after only succeeding for a few seconds before he was killed. It sounds like an interesting story but because it's Taehyungs dad he would have to kill, it makes me worried. Then because Sehun and I are mated he can feel just how I feel about that thought and I don't like it. Taehyungs father is a good man, he never spoke ill of me and he and his wife even allowed me to stay in their house after finding out that Taehyungs real mate was Y/n. They never forced me out, I left on my own free will and they're good people.

However with Sehun knowing of my feelings to this he tries to tell me it's for the best and that I would be luna along side him but honestly I don't care about that, I just want to live in peace with him. Just like we are now, sitting cuddled up on the couch in front of the fireplace while Minho and Jiwon sit across from us on the couch also cuddled up together, their bodies entwined with one another. They're not mates, they just basically use each other for that affection, Jiwon even sometimes does that with Tanner, who get easily jealous but he's not here right now. He left to go get some more wood from the fire place.

There's no tv in this place so we had to make our own enjoyment but they find it entertaining to talk about killing the pack members in Taehyungs pack which I don't like to talk about because I know these people. I don't like the plans they are planning to do. I want to warn them but I feel like I would be betraying my mate by doing so and plus I wouldn't be able to keep it a secret from him either or have that one risk that he would actually lose his temper with me.

I cant have him hate me. I just cant.

"Where is that nut? The fire is starting to fade unless we have more wood." Minho

I nodded in agreement, cuddling into Sehuns chest listening to his steady heart beat as he soothingly ran his fingers through my hair.

"Jiwon you go check where he is." Sehun

"Why me?" Jiwon

"Because if you shout on him he'll come running to you. We all know this, he's like puppy." Sehun

I laughed at Sehuns words and seeing Jiwon scowl at him for it. Even Minho laughed at it but only to receive a smack on the chest by Jiwon. The door to the cabin slammed open and quick running feet came towards us. Telling my the scent it was Tanner, back already.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Sehun

"Ha! I think he heard Jiwon's thoughts." Minho

Jiwon slapped him again with a glare but that didn't stop Minho and Sehun from laughing. Tanner ran into the room, pacing back and forth, waving his hands around like a mad man.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." Tanner

"Hey man where's the wood? The fire is almost out." Minho

Tanner stopped in front of the fire place and dropped both hands to his sides but his messy hair didn't go a miss. His brown hair sticking up everywhere on top of his head.

"Something happened. I couldn't concentrate but I came aight back here and I ha- Hey! What are you doing cuddling my woman?!" Tanner

He pointed at the two cuddled together. I just quietly sat there against my mate, watching Tanner glare at the two but most importantly Minho. Minho just laughed and pulled Jiwon closer to his chest but Tanner growled at that, baring his teeth at him which only fuelled Tanners anger.

"TANNER!! What happened?" Sehun

Snapping him out his thoughts Tanner shook his head and turned around to Sehun and I, now to ignore Minho and Jiwon.

"Oh yeah. Anyway I found this guy, this other rogue, I was quite hungry you know so I found this rabbit and we fought for it but long story short I won the rabbit but its what he told me is what made me come back here." Tanner

"Yeah with no wood." Minho

Tanner rolled his eye to glance over his shoulder to Minho.

"If your so desperate for wood then go get it yourself!" Tanner

"What did this guy tell you?" Sehun

I shifted on Sehuns lap uncomfortably. I think I know what it was going to be about, maybe but I didn't say anything but to listen to what Tanner was going to say.

"That the alpha's son, Kim Taehyung is taking on the role to become alpha early. It was just announced and that he has a mate that is mute but she is also a human." Tanner

"Great! The human family we are after have close ties with the alpha now. Just fantastic." Jiwon

She said sarcastically, dropping her head back against the arm of the couch with a heavy sigh to accompany it. I didn't tell them much of what I know from the pack just a few bits here and there.

"Actually no, this is good. It's like history will repeat itself so they would know that death is coming and someone will die and my bet is on Kim Taehyung. I will kill him but this time I will not fall into the same fate my ancestor did. I WILL kill Kim Taehyung for his place." Sehun

"Well they're suppose to do the whole mating ceremony thing but I think they are also making him the alpha in one big ceremony thing going on there. You know all that traditions and what not just hurt my head to even think about." Tanner

He stretched his head, scrunching up his nose slightly. Where as I stayed quiet, I don't want Taehyung die even after what happened to between us. I so desperately want to tell them what's coming, that it is Sehun coming for him but I cant, he's my mate. I cant betray him.

What the hell am I going to do?
