Possessive MiiMii

We made it to Reed’s office. She looked over a map that was spread out on her desk with a confused look on her face. I chuckled as King and I approached her.

“What are you doing?” I asked her looking at the map. It was a map of my land and all the landmarks on it. I looked up at her when she didn’t answer.  “Hello?” I asked sarcastically.

“My goodness Kaiya, Remember we are getting some pack members from the pack to build new mansions. You know that some of the females in the pack our having pups and they need room,” Reed said rolling her eyes.

“I remember. I just didn’t expect you to get a map like this made,” I said rolling my eyes back at her.

“Anyways, I was thinking of building both mansions here,” Reed said pointing to an empty area by another set of two mansions surrounded by trees. I was going to say something until King’s voice filled the room.

“You shouldn’t build them there,” King said looking down at the map.

“And why is that?” Reed asked calmly.

“Well first off its too close to the other mansions. If you are building it for room then its too clustered in this area for two more mansions and you would be doing the complete opposite. And on top of that the trees block the path to get to the main pack house. That leaves these people vulnerable. It’s not a great idea,” King scanned the map and pointed to an area that was located on the other side of the creek on the map. “They should be built here. Its safe and spacious and there not in danger,” King said looking up at the both of us. I looked at him with pride and gave him a smile.

~”Good job love,”~ I said through our mind link.

~”We have to talk about this talking in our head thing later,”~ King said.

I chuckled and Reed looked at me confused for a moment before she waved it off.

“Well I guessed you can solve anything huh?” Reed said sarcastically. My wolf didn’t like her tone one bite towards our mate and before I could do anything she took over and slammed Reed against the wall.

“Watch how you talk to my mate Reed. Your wolf may be my best friend but I would put you in your place if you talk to my mate again like that. He is Alpha and you are going to treat him accordingly,” MiiMii growled in Reeds face. Although Reed tried to hide it, I could tell that she was growing nervous because of my anger towards her. Her fearless attitude was one of the reasons we became best friends and how she became my Beta.

~”MiiMii calm the hell down now!”~ I yelled at her in my head.

~”This bitch needs to learn how to show respect,”~ MiiMii said putting more pressure on Reed.

~”Fine then. Im taking over again,”~ I said making MiiMii release the hold she had over my body. I was pissed at her because she took punishing Reed overboard. At the end of the day she was still my best friend.

~”Kaiya don’t I can handle it,”~ MiiMii said trying to keep dominance.

~” I forgot how much a sadist you are. Your done,”~ I said fighting with her. We were having an internal battle until I felt a warm touch on my shoulder.

“Kaiya let her go,” King said to me. MiiMii looked at him and licked her lips.

“Mmm. Hey delicious," she said seductively. I knew that if I didn’t take over while she was distracted then Reed would be scarred for life. I took control of my body.

~”Damn,”~ MiiMii said in my head disappointed.

“We need to go,” I said grabbing King’s hand and practically running out of Reeds office. I opened the door and made it outside changing midstride. I heard clothes rip behind me and I could tell that King followed me. I ran with all I had releasing the anger and sadness that I felt with every stride. I don’t know how long we ran but once we stopped I was thirsty. I looked around the forest and noticed that we were still in my territory. I knew that nearby was a lake and I headed towards it. The water felt cool down my throat and once I was satisfied I looked at my mate. He didn’t say anything and neither did I. It was a comfortable silence and I embraced it. I shifted back and dove into the water. The cold didn’t really affect me because of my body temperature. When I resurfaced King was swimming towards me.

“You okay Kaiya?” King asked running a wet hand on my cheek. I gave him a small smile and nod.

“My Wolf took over because Reed had an attitude towards you,” I said to him floating on my back.

“I can tell that she is very possessive when it comes to me,” King said chuckling.

“Yes she is. I had to argue with her just to get control. She was so reluctant to let Reed go,” I said recalling the memory. I’ll talk to Reed tomorrow. I thought to myself.

“I kind of like it. You can definitely tell when she takes over. The energy in the room becomes more charged,” King said to me.

“That’s interesting,” I said splashing him. King laughed at me.

“Oh yeah I really want to know about that mind talking thing,” King said grabbing me and bringing me close. I could feel our bodies mold together.

“Well what I was told is that mates can talk through a separate mind link from the pack because their souls are one in the same. It’s like this….a pack is like one huge soul. We are all connected to it but its not connected to our soul like a mate is. A mate is like the basic structure that makes you live. It’s the same yet different…man its hard to explain,” I said shaking my head.

“Its okay. We have time,” King said.
