Restricted area

You stare at each other. As per usual, no one really gets what Zack means.

"What does that mean?" Kai asks

"Well, even though your theory is perfectly valid, it does have quite a large plot whole. Therefore we must be missing something pretty big. Like, for example, there might have been someone else involved."

This explanations followed by a piercing silence. It seems like everyone is thinking of an idea, but your brain feels foggy and empty.

"I say we sneak to the spot where they found the guy... And we'll go from there." Kai says.

You look around, Blake doesn't seem very keen on the idea, though he doesn't manifest it. Harley and Roxy look ready to go straight away, and Ella and Zack just look kind of neutral.

"Let's go then!" As expected Roxy is ready.

"Yeah let's move!" Harley supports her.

"Don't be stupid." Blake's voice breaks the excitement. "We'll go there at night when there's no one at the beach, it's still a restricted area remember?"

You decide to go home until sun down, your parents are working so you don't need to worry about confronting them.

"And a shower would feel great right now." You think to yourself grinning slightly for the first time in the past 24 hours.

You take a nice long shower and get into some fresh clothes. It feels nice to have a bit of normality back in your life. You have some spare time so, even though you don't feel like it, you make yourself finish some homework. You check your phone for the time, it's almost 1 p.m. You mother won't be home for lunch, therefore you make your way down the stairs to grab something to eat. Only then do you realize you are starving. You make yourself a burger with a fried egg, crisps and some salad.

During the afternoon you end up taking a rather long nap. You hadn't slept the previous night and you wouldn't be sleeping that night either. You wake up at around 5 p.m. It will still be a bit until sunset, but your mother should get home in about an hour. You get some warmer clothes on, black mom jeans, a crew neck and a corduroy jacket.

You decide it is best to leave a note before your parents freak out and call the police.

I was home and had some food. I'm sleeping over at Roxy's again.

You leave your house just a couple minutes before 6 o'clock and head for Roxy and Kai's place.
