Skating through love

Behind the dunes

It's 2 a.m. and you are ready to leave. You decide it smarter not to skate there since it'll be noisy and the skateboards are hard to carry.

Just as you planned, you walk to the location through the dunes for cover. When you get there you can see the police tape surrounding the whole place.

"There they are!" Ella whispers. "The guards, like we thought."

"Well that's my cue." Roxy whispers back. "Don't forget to text me when you're done."

"Hey, Roxy, be careful." Zack mutters.

They lock eyes for a second and then Roxy nods and leaves.

"Alright, now we wait." You murmur.

Each one of you takes careful glances from time to time from behind the dunes. You can hear Roxy's voice, she sounds quite convincing.

"Ok, ok you stay here while I take this poor girl to the car so we can call social security." You hear one of the guards say.

"Shit, we didn't think one of them would stay here" Blake says through gritted teeth.

You hear a loud thud, as you peek from the dunes, you see Roxy lying on the floor.

"What is she doing? Is she ok?" You hear Zack whisper.

"She's a genius! Now they'll have to carry her!" Kai utters.

"Shut up, Kai. They'll hear us." Ella grunts.

"Sorry, sorry..." Kai says silently giggling.

"Hello? Miss? Are you alright?" One of the guards says.

"Come on I'll help you carry her to the car. No one's here anyways." A grin spreads across your face as the guards leave the area.

"Let's go! We have to take advantage of our time."

You all run out from behind the dunes turning on flashlights to investigate. You dodge the police tape and look for anything they might've missed.

"Hey! Over here! There's a trail..."
