ADA (Ang Munting Gaga) Final Chapter

After the wedding ceremony, I got pulled by my sister and my friends to change. I changed into a white low back satin dress. Ang nakababa kong buhok ay itinaas nila para mas lalong makita ang exposed kong likod.

"Ewan ko nalang kung hindi pa masundan ang kambal pagkatapos ng gabing ito." Nagtawanan kami sa sinabi ni Koline. Gusto ko sanang sabihin na may nabuo na uli pero mas gusto kong makita ang reaction nila mamaya.

Matapos akong maayusan ay bumalik rin kami. Nakasunod lang ako sa kanila dahil hindi ko naman alam kung saan nila nilagay ang reception.

I felt my eyes twinkled lalo na nung makita ko ang isang napakagwapong imbensyon ni Lord. He's wearing a white polo na bukas ang dalawang butones exposing a part of his chest.

Bigla akong kinilig ng magtagpo ang tingin namin. Feeling ko teenager lang ako tapos nagkatitigan kami ni crush.

Pinasadahan niya ng tingin ang kabubuan ko. He smiled before reaching my hand. He kissed me on my forehead before hugging me tightly.

"I love you, Adaleine." I smiled wider and looked at him.

"I love you too, Gabby." He held my cheek and gave me a passionate kiss before we entered the reception hall.

Everything felt surreal. Para akong nakapatong sa ulap at ang tanging nararamdaman ko lang ay saya.

Bago pa kami makaupo ay nakita ko na ang mga kapatid ko sa harap. Charles is holding a mic at mukhang magbibigay na ng message ang best man.

"I never thought I'd give this kind of message." Everyone laughed sa pasimula ni Charles. "Gab, Ada, sorry but I never expected you two to end up together. I never expected you two dating before either. Ni hindi ko nga napansin na dati mo na palang pinopormahan ang kapatid ko, Gabriel. I never expected it but I'm thankful you found each other. Please take care of my sister, Gabriel. I'm your friend pero kapag nalaman kong pinaiyak mo ang kapatid ko ako mismo ang kukuha sa kanila sa bahay niyo." Humalakhak ako ng bigyan pa ni Charles si Gabriel ng death glare. "Welcome to the family, Bro." He came closer at niyakap muna si Gabriel bago ako lapitan. He pinched my cheek before hugging me.

"Be happy, okay?" He said habang nakayakap saakin. Kahit madalas na loko loko si Charles, alam ko naman na mahal na mahal niya ako.

Matapos ni Charles ay ang aking Maid of honor naman which is si Brianna. Hindi pa ito nagsisimula magsalita ay parang iiyak na siya. Nakakahawa tuloy. Gab glanced at me ng suminghot ako. Inabutan niya ako ng tissue bago hawakan uli ang kamay ko.

"Before I say my message to the groom and bride, let me take you 6 months ago. Gab called me one night asking for help. He wanted to surprise Ada with a wedding. A wedding that is far different from all the weddings she planned. So we added a fake bride to make it unnoticeable. That's where my good friend Annelyn came to the rescue." Tumayo si Annelyn at kumaway saakin.

"I'm sorry for stressing you out but its all part of the plan so we had to stick to it. We have to know what you wanted on your wedding and we can't ask you directly because you might be suspicious. Our plan worked and every stressful nights became worth it when I saw how happy you are walking that isle." Nilayo niya saglit ang mic at pinunasan ang pisngi. I can clearly see her crying. Hindi ko nanaman tuloy napigilan na maluha rin.

"Sorry I'm teary eyed. I'm just happy that we pulled off this wedding without her knowing it and I'm also happy for you guys. Gabriel, thank you for coming into Ada's life. Thank you for making my sister feel the love she deserves. Adaleine, I'm extremely grateful to see you happy in the arms of a man who deserves your love. I know he will make you even happier, and that's all I'm asking for. In the past years, I saw how you two loved each other. I saw how you guys became the best parents to Gavin and Adam. I saw how you both changed to be the best version of yourselves for your family. We love you both so much. Congratulations on your wedding! Let's all raise our glasses for the newly weds."

After the toast and messages from the best man and maid of honor. It's time to eat at habang kumakain ang mga bisita ay nilibot namin ni Gabriel ang mga lamesa.

My Tatay hugged me ng makarating kami sa lamesa nila. Paulit ulit niya ring binigyan ng halik ang tuktok ng ulo ko.

"Are you happy, anak?" Mas hinigpitan ko ang yakap sa kaniya ng marinig ang salitang iyon. Apat na letrang gustong gusto kong naririnig mula sa kaniya.

Pinunasan ni Tatay ang pisngi kong basa na dahil sa kanina pang pag-iyak. "As long as you're happy, Ada. Masaya narin ako. Gabriel, alagaan mo ng mabuti ang anak ko at mga apo ko." Natawa ako ng mag-iba ang boses ni Tatay ng kausapin si Gabriel.

"Yes, Tay." Sunod na niyakap ni Tatay si Gabriel. Ako naman ay lumapit kay Nanay na buhat si Adamson.

She held my cheeks before kissing the other. Ngumiti ako rito bago yakapin ng mahigpit.

Sunod na yumakap rin saakin ang mga magulang ni Gabriel na panay ang congratulate saamin. Nasa lap naman ni Mommy si Gavinson. Nasa iisang mahabang table lang kasi ang pamilya namin.

Lumapit rin ako sa lamesa ng mga kaibigan ko. Sofia and Koline hugged me. Ang kaninang katabi kong Gabriel ay nakikipagusap narin kina Ralph, Aldous at Chester. Naging magkaibigan parin kami ni Chester at parehas na kaming masaya sa sari sarili naming pamilya.

Ng makabalik na kami ni Gabriel sa sarili naming lamesa ay hindi na ako mapakaling sabihin ang tungkol sa pagbubuntis ko. Buti nalang hindi napapansin ni Gab.

A romantic melody filled the whole place. Kinilig ako ng tumayo si Gabriel at iabot ang kamay saakin. "Can I have this dance, Mrs Smith?" I nodded and reached for his hand.

Nakarating kami sa dancefloor and all eyes are on us. Ang musika at ang magagandang mata lang ni Gabriel ang napapansin ko.

As I rest my head on his chest while swaying on the music, I can clearly hear how his heart beats. Ganun rin ang puso ko na parang masisira na sa sobrang galak. I still can't belive I'm now married to this beautiful man. I can't belive we're dancing as Mr and Mrs Smith now.

Tumingin ako sa kaniya and my heart melt when I saw him tearing up. I held his cheek and wiped his tears. "I'm so happy, hun. Thank you for being so amazing in every way–for loving me so completely that I can't help but become a better man spending my forever with you and our kids. The best promise I ever made to God was to love you. It's been the easiest and most rewarding to keep. I love you so much, Mrs. Adaleine Smith."

"I love you, Gab. I love you, Gavin and Adam and this tiny peanut." I smiled as I moved his hand to my tummy. Nanlaki ang mata niya ng marealize ang sinasabi ko.

"Are you..."

"I'm pregnant, Gab. Magiging kuya na ang kambal." He flashed his smile at agad akong niyakap ng mahigpit.

"I love you so much, Ada. Thank you for completing our family. Thank you for marrying me."

"I love you too, Gabriel. Thank you for completing me."
