~Holly's POV~

The next week flows by without a difference. Jayden's mostly busy hunting Aiden, while I only go to school and back, not leaving Jayden's building for anything else. Juli and Amber keep me occupied most of the time, but I still miss Jayden's presence. It's just not the same, but I try to remain patient, since I know damn well why he's away from me.

On a seemingly normal Friday morning something changes all of the sudden. It's Chelsea suddenly walking up to me with a shy smile on her face, all in the middle of the school's hallways.

"Holly, can I talk to you for a second?", she asks timidly. Meanwhile, I stare at her in shock. She never spoke to me so politely before. I nearly tremble at her sudden appearance after she wasn't in school for days now, but her huge, pleading eyes hold me back. She seems nearly... genuine?

"I- Uh, yeah, of course", I stutter still shocked.

"Great! Let's just find somewhere quiet, alright?", she beams at me. That's the moment Jayden and the rest of the guys start to move.

"You won't go anywhere with her!", he booms next to me. "You already did enough!"

"I-"

"No! She's staying here and you'll fuck off somewhere else!", he grunts aggressively, making me grab his hand tighter so he won't start a fight.

"I just want to apologize properly!", she surprises all of us in return. "Please just give me a chance to talk this out the right way."

"I won't-"

"Come on, Jayden. Let me hear what she has to say", I try to calm him down. "All of you will be right around the corner, if something happens I'll just call for you, okay?"

He grunts and obviously wants to protest, but in the end he just nods. I smile at him proudly, while Chelsea squeals in delight. Her high voice makes my ears hurt, but I try not to frown.

"Let's go then!", she screeches excitedly and grabs my arm to drag me down the hallway and around the next corner. When we're out of view she turns to me with a bright smile. Is it fake? I'm not sure, but there's a sudden glint in her eyes, that I don't like. It reminds me of our past encounters...

"Well, like I said, I wanted to apologize for being such a bitch to you. I shouldn't have treated you like that-"

Suddenly there's a small pain in the back of my neck and I squeak in surprise. Turning around I suddenly feel my limbs go slack and before I can really grasp what's going on I see a familiar face in front of me, while Chelsea evilly cackles in the background.

Then everything goes black.
