~Holly's POV~

Five minutes later I shyly step out of their front door. Jayden already started on my car, so Juli just told me to go and keep him company.

"Don't stress yourself to much, I bet he's as nervous as you are", she grinned at me, then shoved me in the direction of the door.

At first I can't see Jayden anywhere, but after a few confusing seconds I spot his long legs sticking out from under my car. I carefully make my way over to him and awkwardly stand next to him.

"Uhm, Jayden?", I shyly make myself known. A loud bump answers me, then I hear him curse.

"Shit!", he grumbles and I see him struggling to get out from under my car.

Once he's free, I can't help but internally drool. He only wears a loose, white tanktop and light blue jeans, sitting low on his hips. He has some grease smeared on his clothes, hands and even his face, but I never saw him looking hotter. His naked arms bulge under my gaze, his muscles on full display. My fingers twitch, I have to hold myself back from touching him.

"Wow, you look beautiful!", he mumbles shocked after looking at me just like I looked at him.

"Thanks", I respond while blushing furiously. My crush just called me beautiful! Ahhh! Internally screaming, I try to remain calm on the outside.

"So, can I help you with this?", I ask timidly, gazing upon my car and the tools laying around it.

"You could give me the things I need to fix it, while I'm under your car", he nods and I agree immediately, thankful for not only having to sit around.

A few minutes later both of us realize I don't know anything about tools. He had to describe nearly everything he needed for me to give him the right one, but it caused us to laugh a lot. Surprising me, he wasn't angry at all, I even think he finds it amusing. Telling me with endless patience what he needs, he slowly fixes my car.

After half an hour he finally crawls out from under my car again. This time he has even more grease on him than before. It makes me giggle, causing him to look at me questioningly.

"You- You have something in your face", I say, trying to hold my laugh in.

"Huh?", he mumbles, touching his face with his equally dirty hands, making it even worse. I can't help it, I burst out laughing. His face is just way to hilarious! He looks down at me with a funny look in his eyes, then he smiles.

"I just made it worse, right?"

I only nod, to caught up in my laughing fit for anything else.

"Come here!", he suddenly exclaims with humor in his eyes, walking up to me, his hands held out like a monster in a movie.

"Ah!", I squeak and immediately take off, trying to avoid his dirty hands. "No! Stop it!"

He laughs at my attempts to flee, letting me escape again every time he successfully corners me. We're a giggling, laughing mess when he finally traps me. His hands are on either side of my head, his tall body towering over me, cornering me against the wall of their garage. Both of us are panting from running around my car so often, but suddenly the atmosphere changes.

His eyes meet mine, our laughter dying down slowly. I flush under his intense gaze. A small smile plays around his gorgeous lips, happiness still visible in his wonderfully sparkling, green-brown eyes. These eyes hold me captive, I can't look anywhere else. Only when they suddenly wander down to my lips for a split second am I freed from his intense spell.

"You should probably change", I mumble shyly.

"I probably should", he sighs and steps back. "Wait for me in the living room, alright?"

I nod and so we make our way back inside their house. To my surprise he opens the door for me, making me flush once again. Throwing me a last smirk he takes off up the stairs to his room.

I let out a deep breath. I would've never guessed, that I'd fool around like this with the Jayden Davis one day. Making my way over to their living room and plopping down on the familiar couch, I think about what just happened.

What was that even? It nearly looked like he thought about kissing me for a moment, but that's impossible. Right? Probably my imagination running wild. This isn't one of my dreams, so I better not get my hopes up. Yet I can't deny the happiness coursing through my veins or the butterflies having a feast in my stomach.

"Oh, hello Holly!", a sudden voice pulls me out of my thoughts. When I look up, I meet the gentle gaze of Juli's and Jayden's mother.

"Hello, Mrs. Davis", I smile back, but she only waves her hand in my face. I guess she's the one from whom Juli got that gesture.

"How often did I tell you to call me by my first name, Holly? It makes me feel so old", she whines playfully and I shyly smile back.

"I'm sorry, Mrs- Claudia", I quickly correct myself, causing her to laugh.

"Don't worry, dear, what are you waiting for anyways?", she asks curiously. I feel the blood rushing to my face again, not knowing what to tell her.

"Well, uhm, I... Jayden fixed my car since, uhm, it wouldn't start a few days ago and well, yeah, now I'm just waiting for him, because he had to change afterwards", I awkwardly try to explain without telling her to much and making this even more awkward. Her eyes widen at my words nonetheless.

"He did?!", she exclaims surprised. "He never did that for me!"

She pouts and seems to think for a few seconds, then she breaks out into a kind of knowing smile, whatever it is about.

"Well, I hope you two are going to have a good afternoon. Have fun, dear!", she wishes me, her eyes genuinely happy, then she leaves me alone again.

I let out another breath. Well, that was awkward.

Just in that moment I hear heavy steps coming down the stairs and a second later Jayden walks into the room. My eyes widen at his appearance. He looks delicious! He obviously showered, his hair still a bit wet and changed into a white T-Shirt that clings a bit to his seemingly still damp muscles. A dark jeans hugs his muscular tights, black sneakers on his feet with his signature black leather jacket completing the outfit.

"You ready?", he interrupts my drooling. I try to hide my blush and nod.

"Are you sure, you really want to do this?", I can't help, but ask on the way out. He stops dead in his tracks and turns around to face me.

"Holly, if I didn't want to, I just wouldn't, okay? Don't worry your pretty, little head", he orders gently and lightly caresses my upper arm, as if to try and sooth all of my worries. I feel the ever-present blood in my cheeks and bashfully nod.

"Let's go", he mumbles and gently grabs my hand to pull me outside to his bike.

Ignoring my flushed face, I internally freak out about how perfectly his hands fit with mine. They're so big they completely engulf my own quadratic, fat ones. I never liked my short, chubby fingers, but his warm, calloused hands around mine give me a whole other feeling about myself. I feel protected and safe in his grasp.

Arriving next to his motorcycle, he gives me his spare helmet once again and then proceeds to fix his own. I'm already giddy to ride with him again, remembering the last time and how free I felt while doing so.

"Hop on", he grins down at me, helping me up careful of my bruises.

"Thank you", I mumble shyly and timidly embrace his waist. He just gave me another smirk over his shoulder before letting his bike roar loudly and taking off down their driveway.
