POV Kate
It's been 2 weeks since I told Meaghan I like her. The next couple days after that were a little awkward, but we quickly got back to how things were before I confessed. I got a text from Meg asking to face time.
"Heyyy Kaitwinnn"
"Hi Meg." I smiled and looked away. I told her I don't have feelings for her anymore, and I'm trying to convince myself that I don't, but sometimes my feelings get the best of me. "I gotta go do something real quick, here talk to Kylie." Before either of them could say anything, I gave Kylie the phone and went to my car. I sat there for 5 minutes trying to collect my thoughts.
It's been 2 weeks, nothings gonna happen between us. I need to stop liking her before it ruins our friendship. I'd rather have her in my life as a friend than not at all.
I went back inside and told Meaghan the boys were fighting and I had to go check on them.
"I didn't hear them fi-" I glared at Kylie and she got the hint.
The call went smoothly after that. Meg fell asleep and I got a bunch of screenshots. She's adorable when she sleeps.
POV Meg
Last night was really weird. Usually Kate would've taken the phone with her. The call was a little tense but at least we got to talk. Kate's my favorite person. She's patient and kind and I can talk to her about anything. But in a friend way. I don't like her like that. Right? Yeah. I definitely don't have feelings for her.
