Reader's POV
A little over a week had passed since Five kissed me and not once had we bothered to talk about it. After a while, I just assumed it was just hormones mixed with his lack of sleep that caused it, nothing more. Five and I were decently getting along now, but were no where close to figuring out how to get home. We made a list of what we did know: the date of the apocalypse, Hargreeves had died a week before, and whatever else information we could get from Vanya's book.
Five had found a copy of it and we took turns reading it aloud. I had to take a couple breaks in between my turns because some parts were just too heavy to process.
"-their disappearance affected all of us. The team was no longer complete, and it felt as if our family was growing apart-" Five read.
"Wait! This is about us!"
Five looked up at me with his signature annoyed expression.
"Yes, (Y/n). It has been for the last three pages- are you even listening!?"
I blinked, "Sorry, I'm just trying to process all of this..."
"Welp I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to do so, seeing we're going to be stuck here a while."
Five adjusted his position and continued to read.
"There's so much to say about (Y/n). She was like the glue that held us together. More specifically, she was what made me feel connected with my siblings. (Y/n) was everyone's best friend, and despite being a member of the Unbrella Academy, she would always insist on spending time with me- hey, are you okay?"
Five stopped reading and pushed my hair out of my face. I had began to cry again without realizing it. I quickly wiped my eyes and laughed.
"Sorry, I just miss her, that's all. I miss all of them."
Five placed the book down and scooted closer to me. He wiped his eyes too and sighed.
"I know, it's hard. I promise I'll figure out a way to get us back." He sat up straighter and looked around, "-and we'll find a way to stop all of this."

Flashback
"Shhh! Klaus keep your voice down! You're gonna wake the others up!" Allison half whispered to her brother and she, Klaus, and Vanya snuck down the hallway.
A floorboard creaked and they froze and looked at each other nervously.
"...C'mon guys." Allison said as she led the others down the stairs.
Ben waved at his siblings from the couch.
"(Y/n)'s in the kitchen getting the snacks. Here- I brought extra blanket down. Just be sure to remember to put them away afterwards." Ben said.
"Sounds good." Vanya smiled.
"Are you sure none of the others noticed you guys?" Ben asked.
"Nope!" Klaus said, popping the 'p.'
"Welp c'mon then. Wanna build a couch fort while we wait?" Allison suggested.
__________
"Cookies... crackers... and stuff to put on the crackers... everything is ready!" I whispered to myself happily.
