*Lunch time*
Rachel: *tiding up her desk then looks over to Quinn as she does the same* you ready for lunch ? *puts her hand out for Quinn to hold it*
Quinn: omg yes! I'm starving *smiles at rachel*
Rachel: *laughs at Quinn for being a tad dramatic* ok let's go before your stomach starts to eat itself then *smiles at Quinn as they walk towards the cafeteria*
*Brittany and Santana put their books in there lockers then walk down the hall, towards the cafeteria*
Brittany: how about we eat outside on the benches today? It seems like a nice day for it *smiles at san*
Santana: sure *smiles*
*quinn and Rachel sit down facing each other. the way that Quinn is sitting, she is in view of the table that Finn and the other football players all sit together*
rachel: *sees Quinn start to get tense* babe, what's wrong? *looks into Quinn's eyes and puts her hand on top of Quinn's*
Quinn: *looks into Rachel's eyes trying not to get upset* it's Finn. I don't want him to come over and start yelling.
Rachel: *looks over her shoulder to the table that Finn is at then looks back to Quinn* he won't come anywhere near you, ok?! I'm not gonna let him. *weakly smiles at Quinn as Quinn does the same*
Quinn: ok... *starts to play with her food because she is feeling nauseous from thinking about everything*
Rachel: how about we go for a walk around the school and get some fresh air for a bit?
Quinn: yeah
*Rachel puts her bag over her shoulder and grabs her bottle of water, before going round the other side of the table. She stands beside Quinn and puts her hand out for Quinn to grab hold of. Quinn puts her bottle of water in her bag then stands up, with her bag in one hand and holding Rachel's hand with the other*
*as the girls have a stroll round the building. Rachel wraps one arm around Quinn's torso and Quinn rests her head on Rachel's as Rachel has her head resting on Quinn's shoulder*
Rachel: oh look... there's the girls! wanna go over and sit with them? *looks at Quinn, waiting for her to respond*
Quinn: yeah... but let's not talk about the Finn situation pls. Because I know for a fact that they will just joke and try to be funny. And I just don't feel like pretending to find it funny today.
Rachel: Ofc! they don't need to know. We'll just tell them about it another day *kisses Quinn on the cheek then grabs hold of her hand to walk over to where Brittany and san are sitting*
Santana: oh hey girls! what are guys doing out here?
Rachel: just getting some fresh air *smiles and squeezes Quinn's hand a little to reassure her that Rachel won't talk about anything to do with Finn*
Brittany: *smiles up at the girls* come sit! *pats the space next to her, inviting Rachel to sit down and san just smiles up at Quinn and mimics Brittany's ways. Inviting Her to sit down.
*the 4 of them chat and laugh about absolute randomness for the remainder of their lunch break. But when Rachel, san and Britt we're laughing about something. Rachel looks across the table at Quinn and notices that she is kinda out of it. She wasn't wanting Quinn to think about Finn and get upset so she lightly taped on her leg with her shoe to get Quinn's attention. rachel smiles at Quinn because that their way of silently asking if the other one is alright. Quinn smiles back at Rachel then they both join back in with the laughter and talking*
