*Brittany didn't want to disturb Santana so she carefully carried san into the house to lay her down on the bed. Brittany took her jacket and shoes off. Then she went back over to Santana and took sans shoes off and tucked her in bed, Giving her a kiss on the head before going to have a chat with her mum about whats going on with Santana's mum*
*Brittany closed her bedroom door and went to knock on her mums bedroom door*
Meredith: *heard Brittany knocking* come on in honey!
Brittany: *walks in and goes to sit next to her mum* san is fast asleep in my bed so i thought that now would be a good time to ask you about her mum *looks at her mum*
Meredith: ok... *sighs thinking back to the phone call she had with Valerie earlier* honey... Valerie is in the hospital...
Brittany: *shocked and worried about how upset san is going to be when she finds out* why?... what happened?...
Meredith: rick came home very drunk on Thursday night and was quite violent towards Valerie... He has managed to break her ribs and she said that she has bruises all over her stomach, face and arms! *pauses and swallows the lump in her throat*...the doctors are going to do some surgery to help fix whats broken. It's just going to take some time for her to recover
Brittany: ok *weakly smiles at her mum as Meredith smiles back*...but why did rick do this? I don't understand!
Meredith: I'm not sure honey! ...Lets just forget about him for now and think about the best way to talk to Santana and let her know what's happening. And if she is up for it, we can take her to go and visit her mum at the hospital *weakly smiles at Brittany as Britt smiles back and nods her head*
Brittany: *hugs her mum for a minute of 2*... good night mum!
Meredith: good night honey, love you!
Brittany: *is stood at the door and is about to open it when she looks back at her mum* love you too! *smiles then heads back to her room to put her pj's on and get into bed. brittany got into bed and before she had time to lay on her side, she felt san wrap her arm across her stomach and cuddles into her a much as possible. Brittany smiles at how san always knows when Brittany is there. Even when Santana is fast asleep*
*Saturday morning! Everyone was sleeping in because none of them had anything important that needed to be done for a certain time. Brittanys mum doesn't need to work away, during the weekend. san hasn't been called into work, so she also has the whole weekend to relax and do whatever! And Brittany hasn't started a job or anything yet because she was wanting to put all of her time and energy in getting a decent education. So she has no intentions of going anywhere*
*1:45pm! The girls are snuggled on the couch watching tv. San has been feeling like Brittany is being quieter than usual. Because whatever they watch something, san thinks about how there are certain parts it that Brittany definitely would have been laughing at... but she never did. Brittany was looking at the tv, but no matter how hard she tried, She just couldn't stay focused. She kept on thinking about how to tell San about what's happened, without her getting too upset about it. Brittany knows that Santana will overthink and start to blame herself for not being there when her mum needed help*
*san had enough and was just gonna ask Britt what shes so distracted by because its starting to worry san that Brittany is acting like a different person, than the girl that Santana has known since they were 7 years old. Santana paused the program, which makes Brittany snap out of her thoughts and turn to see what Santana was up to*
Brittany: what did you pause it for babe? ...do you wanna watch something different? *looks at her as san just looks at Brittany and doesn't say anything. Santana saw how Brittany completely snapped out of her quietness and went back to her usual, smiley and talkative self. now san really wants to find out whats going on in Brittany's mind*
