brittany: *looks up at santana for a moment then an idea came to mind. she knew it wouldnt do a huge amount of problem solving for santana, but at least its something* how about i make you a big, warm bubble bath? just like i did when we were away for your birthday *looks up smiling as santana thinks for a moment*
santana: would you really do that for me? *gets tears in her eyes, this time from brittany's kindness*
brittany: ofc *looks into santana's eyes and smiles* ...sadly we dont have any alcahol in the house so ill need to search the kitchen to see if i could find your second favourite drink...is that ok?
santana: sure *smiles*
brittany: alright, you wait here and do more of your sketching or whatever, and ill go and get everything sorted for you *smiles*
santana: ok...thank you *smiles then brittany kisses san on the forehead before she stands up to go back to her side of the couch to draw. brittany disappears into the bedroom to start the bath and look out some pj's for santana to wear*
*1:30pm! 5 minutes after britt left to sort everything for santana*
brittany: *goes to sit down on her side of the couch and looks to see that santana is super focused on the drawing that she is working on* thats your bath ready! i will get your drink and a little snack brought in for you once you are ready for it*
santana: *doesnt lose her focus on the sketch as she talks to brittany* ok, i just need to do one last thing then ill go
brittany: ok! *slouches down and rests her head on the back of the couch as she looks to the celing and gets lost in thought*
*2 minutes later, santana finishes her drawing and places her stuff back on the little table beside her. she then looks over and sees the brittany is deep in thought. so she goes over and kneels on her hands and knees as she leans in to give brittany a kiss on the cheek. when she does that, brittany snaps back into reality and turns her head to look up at santana. they both smile as they look into each others eyes*
brittany: you ready?
santana: yep! im just about to go
brittany: ok, just shout when you are in the bath and ill come and bring you stuff
santana: k *gets up and walks infront of brittany to get out from behide the coffee table to go to brittanys room*
*brittany slaps santanas ass just as she walked past. santana looks back at brittany and smiles then comtinues to go to brittanys room*
meredith: *looks up from her laptop as san walks past* would you like me to put her in time out? *laughs*
santana: *laughs* nah, its fine! plus, its not like that would do anything other than make her want to be with me more *laughs as does meredith, then they look over to the couch and see brittany playfully rolling her eyes*
*santana goes into the room and gets into the bath while brittany gets off the couch and goes into the kitchen to look for something for santana to drink and she puts a little snack on the side*
meredith: what on earth am i gonna do with you? *laughs as brittany turns round and has the biggest smirk on her face, trying not to laugh. brittany turns back around to get a glass out the cupboard, then she goes over to see if there is any cherryade in the fridge. she goes into the snack cupboard that is right next to the fridge, and she finds some pringles. brittany also decided to put a little fruit bowl onto the tray as well just so san can have options*
brittany: *knocks on the bathroom door and does the whole act of being a waitress* room service for miss lopez?...
santana: *laughs at brittany for always being a goofball when san needs it most* nah, sorry i think you have the wrong room! *plays along with the act to make brittany smile*
brittany: ok... i guess ill just go and give the cherryade to someone else then *smiles because she knows that santana could never say no to cherryade*
santana: HOLD UP... *brittany laughs and just goes into the bathroom to give santana her drink and snacks*
brittany: *goes in and closes the door over* im sorry... i thought there wasnt a miss lopez in here *looks at santana with playful comfusion*
santana: *laughs* no one messes with my cherryade *smiles as brittany hands her glass over to her* ...thank you!
brittany: youre welcome babe! ...ill go and get a little stool to put your plate of snacks on so you will be able to reach them *smiles down at santana*
santana: ok *smiles up at brittany as she lay back with one arm resting on the edge of the bath and the other with her drink in hand, also resting on the opposit side of the bathtub*
brittany: * less than a minute later britt is back with a little stool that is just a little shorter than the bathtub, but high enough for san to reach* here you go! *puts the stool near the edge of the bathtub, closest to sans head. then she turns back to the toilet seat and takes the tray of snacks to place them on the stool. she stands up straigh and looks down at santana, who has already started to munch on her crisps* is there anything else i can do for you?
santana: *finishes eating the crisp she just put in her mouth* hmm... a big juicy kiss pls *they both laugh at sans request because it wasnt exactly what brittany was meaning,not that shes complaining or anything. brittany leans over the bath and kisses san. for once brittany is the one to pull away and not let things get too heated*
*brittany double checks that santana has everything she needs then she goes out the bathroom and back into the dinning room to see her mum. and just chat with her about whatever, to kill some time while san relaxes in the bath*
meredith: *looks up to see that brittany was walking toward the dinning room table* you ok honey?
brittany: i guess... i mean! its not the nicest feeling in the world to have the person you love, going through hell and not be able to do much to help the situation *looks at her mum as her mum sympathetically smiles*
meredith: i know honey... shes gonna be ok and valerie is getting taken care of by the best doctors so im sure she will be back on her feet within a few months. as for santana, we both know that what you said earlier was 100% true! she will come out the other side smiling from ear to ear and will move on to bigger and better things in the future *smiles at brittany*
brittany: yeah, your right! i just need to be there for santana when she needs me and we will just take each day as it comes *smiles at her mum*
meredith: thats my girl! *smiles at brittany as britt smiles back* ...what are you gonna do now?
brittany: i dont know... think i might go and set my bed up all nice for santana coming out the bath. i could maybe go to the shop and go to buy all her favourite movie snacks and we can have a movie night toghether
meredith: sounds good! im sure she'll love that *smiles*
brittany: yeah! ill just go an let her know that im going
meredith: ok honey!
