*5 minutes since brittany went for a walk with santana. they had been walking in silence the whole time because brittany knew that she wouldnt be able to rush san into talking. so brittany just walked beside her, holding santana's hand while listening to the birds and the wind in the trees*
santana: *staring at the ground as her and brittany walk along the path* i hate this!
brittany: *snaps her head toward santana and gave her a look of concern* what do you hate?
santana: why do i let small stuff like this get to me... i beat myself up and end up feeling like a complete idiot *looks up to brittany with watery eyes because she has been fighting with herself since they left to go for a walk*
brittany: *didnt say anything to for a minute or two and just pulled santana in for a hug and held her in a tight embrace as she felt santana start to cry* babe, its ok! you have done nothing wrong *stands in silence a few moments to breath and think of how to say things in a way that will help san feel better about whatever the goblins in her head are telling her*
santana: it sure feels like im always saying the wrong thing to make everyone have a problem with me *tries to calm her breathing back to normal but is struggling because the more she tries to focus on her breathing, the more it makes her think about all the past times that she has gotten into arguments with someone or has just had people come up to her and just rip her to shreds with their harsh words*
brittany: san you arent the problem here! ...everyone is just childish and annoying as hell *laughs as santana looks at brittany and laughs a little* trust me babe, they are so jealous of you
santana: you really think so?
brittany: without a doubt on my mind! *san smiles and brittany kisses her on the forehead* ...wanna head back to the girls, or do you wanna keep wondering for a bit? *looks at santana*
santana: *thinks for a little bit and looks up at the trees then gets an idea* ... wanna do something crazy? *smiles*
brittany: *smiles* are you about to put me in a dangerous situation where we get attacked by a wild animal *looks at san seriously until san laughs which makes brittany laugh also*
santana: no! just come on *grabs hold of britts hand then walks deeper into the woods, looking for the biggest tree possible*
*5 minutes later*
brittany: *was still getting guided by san into the woods. she has no idea what san is doing* babe...where are we going? *looks at san as if she is tired of waiting*
santana: just chill babe! we're almost there *laughs at brittany for being dramatic*
brittany: where is "there" ,though? *looks at san*
santana: *looks at brittany then turn back to see that she has spotted a big tree* up there! *points up to the big tree infront of them, just a few feet away*
brittany: we arent squirrels, babe! how are we gonna get up there? *raises an eyebrow as san looks at britt then starts to jump up to the first branch like spiderman. once she got a handle of her balance standing on the branch, she looks down at brittany* ...you coming? *smiles at brittany then turns around to climb up to the next brance as brittany got up to the one that santana was just stood on*
brittany: as much as im enjoying the view right now, im not loving the fact that we could fall at any second and i wouldnt be able to help save you from hurting yourself *santana sits down on the next branch that she just got up onto, before looking down at brittany and laughing at her first comment*
santana: *reaches her hand out to help brittany get up to her level* well be fine! just come on *brittany sits on the big branch next to san and instantly wraps her arm round santanas back so that she can lean into brittany and calm her nerves*
