*in the field, Brittany was sitting on the bench eating her chips that she got from the cafeteria. And san is lying down on the row below. just sunbathing, looking up at the clouds. Moments later, her phone started to buzz. And Ofc with all the drama recently, she wasn't in a rush to look at the notifications that came through*
*a few minutes later, Brittany received a text. She was hesitant to look, just because she wasn't in the mood to be dealing with Dave or any of his mates, if they were the ones that texted her right now. Brittany looks at her notifications and sees that it was Quinn. So she was instantly at ease*
Q: hey B, are you with san right now?
Britt: hey, yeah she's in the middle of sunbathing right now. What's up?
Q: what is she sunbathing for, it's not even that warm today *laughing face*
Britt: it's been a tough couple of days. so we are just in the football field having our lunch, far from everyone else
Q: ah ok, well could you tell her to just send me a text when she gets a minute
Britt: yeah, will do
Q: thank u, ttylxox
Britt: bye *purple heart*
*brittany places her phone one bench that she is sitting on and goes back to eating her chips*
Santana: who was that? *looks up at britt*
Brittany: it was just Quinn! She was asking for you.
Santana: really, did she say what for?
Brittany: no, but that's probably who was making your phone buzz a minute ago
Santana: maybe... I'll just give her a call after school is over
Brittany: ok, good idea *smiles down at Santana's as san smiles back*
Santana: you finished with that? *pointing to britt's takeaway box of chips*
Brittany: not quite! Do you want some? *lifts the box towards Santana*
Santana: nah, I'm good!
Brittany: ok, well I'm done with them anyway *closes the lid and places the box on the bench next to where she is sitting*
Santana: *looks at the time on her phone* so... we have about 5 minutes till our next class... what do you wanna do? *looks into Brittany's eyes waiting for her to respond*
Brittany: I'm ok with just chillin' here in the peace and quiet *stretched her legs out on the bench and leans back on her hands*
Santana: Sounds good to me *smiles at Britt and stands up* ...may I? *motions towards Brittany's legs asking if she can sit with her*
Brittany: it's about damn time! *smiles and puts her legs down too either side of the bench like she is riding a unicorn or something*
Santana: hey... I'm not the one that was eating food. *laughs and sits with her back against Britt's chest*
Brittany: I was just trying to satisfy the little goblins in my stomach babe. Are you wanting them to eat me?
Santana: *turns her head to look up at Britt and laughs* no thank you!
*Brittany smiles at san and cuddles into her, resting her chin on the crook of sans shoulder. Santana kisses Britt on the side of her head then Santana rests her head on Brittany's and they just sit in a comfortable silence. listening to the birds and looking at their surroundings*
