*after dinner. The girls were in their room, unpacking their clothes and stuff from their weekend away. Once they were both finished, Brittany had flopped herself onto her bed and had her arms stretched out, Making her look like a starfish*
Santana: *Santana lay down shortly after Britt, a little less dramatically. San cuddled into Brittany's side, placing her left arm across Brittany's stomach and she looks up at Britt*...you good?
Brittany: yeah... im so not looking forward to going back to our busy schedules tomorrow *looks down at san*
Santana: yeah, me neither. Would much rather be lazy and have movie and pj days with you *smiles*
Brittany: at least we will get to do a lot more of that as soon as we graduate on Friday *smiles*
Santana: yeah, i cant wait *looks into Brittany's eyes and smiles as Brittany does the same*
*a minute or 2 later. Brittany kisses san then she turns her head and looks at the ceiling, just enjoying the peacefulness of the situation and feels very grateful that she gets to have san in her arms. San was also just laying in the same position as before, with her head on Brittany's chest. Also appreciating that it was so peaceful laying there with Brittany. the woman that Santana still wonders how she got so lucky to be with, because when she was a little girl, this kind of scenario was nothing but a dream and san used to tell herself, thats all it would ever be*
*meanwhile at Quinn's place. She is currently having a movie night with her parents and little brother Toby*
*Rachel is with her dad playing board games and puzzles, as they listen to musical theatre stuff. They are both big fans of any and all musicals because Rachel's dad grew up listening to that sort of thing. So he did the same with Rachel*
Terry (Rachels dad): so, how are things with you and Finn? You didn't seem yourself after bumping into him in town the other day *looks at Rachel*
Rachel: *froze with the sudden question about the one thing she was not prepared to talk about*... umm, thats actually what ive been meaning to talk to you about *rachel is too nervous to look up at her dad incase she breaks down. She just sits at the other side of the dining room table, fidgeting with her hands*
Terry: what is it sweetie? He didn't hurt you, did he?
Rachel: no, its not that... we umm... Finn and i broke up... *looks up to see a shocked look on her dads face*
Terry: aw sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear that... are you ok? *looks at Rachel sympathetically*
Rachel: yeah, I'm relieved actually... its something that I've been meaning to do for a while now... he wasn't the one for me. And I didn't know how tell you because you and Finn became quite close. I was worried that you would be mad at me and it was hard telling Finn how I was feeling coz I knew he would be so hurt by it
Terry: thats very nice of you to consider everyone else's feelings! but i totally understand that this had to happen. if you felt like he wasn't the one you wouldn't want to spend the rest of your life with, that's totally fine. That's just a part of growing up.
Rachel: yeah, i know! I don't know why i was so scared to talk to you about this...you've always been there for me and supported me with everything *smiles at her dad then he smiles at her*
Terry: i love you sweetie, and i will be here for you no matter how big or small the situation is... we will figure it out together *smiles at rachel*
Rachel: thanks dad, that really means a lot *smiles*
Terry: so... is there anything else you need to talk about? *rachel thought for a minute about if she should tell him about Quinn, but she decided to leave it for another day. Because its late and she could see that her dad was fighting to stay awake. he always tries so hard to hide how tired he is*
Rachel: nah, thats everything. I'm thinking we should just head to bed because I've got my last week of school starting tomorrow and i don't wanna be exhausted *smiles*
Terry: ok, good idea *started to tidy the board game away with Rachel*
*once Rachel is ready for bed she gets under her covers and decides to text Quinn to say good night and let her know that she finally managed to tell her dad about breaking up with Finn*
*at Quinn's! She felt her phone vibrate against the armrest of the sofa, she wasn't as into the movie like the rest of her family, so she was quick to pick up her phone. She sees that rachel had sent her a message, So she nervously looks up to see if her family were still to distracted by the movie too ask questions. She still hadn't told her family about her and Rachel*
