*the next day. Quinn decided that she would surprise Rachel and go pick her up. Quinn pulls up in front of Rachels house at 8am. she knows that Rachel likes to leave around this time, so she will have enough time to put stuff in her locker and grab a drink from the cafeteria before class starts. just as Rachel comes down the stairs to put her shoes on, she hears a knock at the door*
Quinn: good morning sweet cheeks! *sees Rachels surprised expression because she wasn't expecting to be seeing Quinn this early*
Rachel: babe...what you doing here?... why didn't you tell me you were coming?
Quinn: *laughs at Rachel asking a million and one questions* Am i not allowed to surprise my girl and give her a ride to school?! *smiles*
Rachel: Of course you are... I just wasn't expecting to see you till class *starts smiling wide and jumps into Quinn's arms and hugging Her in a tight embrace*
Quinn: nah, I couldn't wait that long *smiles then starts peppering Rachels neck and face with kisses, which makes Rachel giggle*
*moments later*
Rachel: *unwraps her legs from Quinn's waist then goes back into the house to get her bag and put her jacket on* BYE DAD, SEE YOU LATER! *her dad shouts down to say bye then the girls walk hand in hand to Quinn's car and they head to school*
*at Brittany's! both girls were all cuddled up on top of the duvet, still in their clothes from the day before. They were so tired and also so comfortable lying all cuddled up that Britt forgot to set an alarm. Brittany's mum was already up and dressed. because she's someone who is a light sleeper who likes to be up before sunrise, so she can watch it happening. Meredith looks down at the time on her phone and sees that it's 8:30, which is when Britt usually gets up to get ready for school. Meredith listens to see if she can hear the girls getting ready. But when she hears complete silence Meredith realises that Britt must have been to exhausted to set an alarm*
Meredith: *knocked on Brittany's bedroom door and talks loud enough for the girls to hear, if they were already up and getting ready* Brittany... honey... time for school! *doesn't get any response so she opens the door and sees that the girls are both still fast asleep in each others arms*
Meredith: *Meredith goes over to Brittany's side of the bed and sits down on the edge of the bed so she can try to wake her up again* Britt... *rubs Brittany's arm because it always used to work whenever she would get woken up as a little kid. when brittany starts to wake up, she turns her head to her mum and smiles*
Meredith: good morning honey...
Brittany: morning... what time is it? *looks at her mum, waiting for a response*
Meredith: it's just after half 8 *looks at san still peacefully asleep, lying her head on Brittany's chest. Brittany saw her mum look at Santana so it also made Brittany look down at her sleeping beauty*
Meredith: I'll leave you too wake her up *kisses Britt on the head then heads back out to the living room. Brittany lays in bed a little longer, just admiring how cute san looks and how her hair is still perfect as if she hasn't been sleeping at all*
