*quinn dialed her mums number and was waititng for her to pick up*
jennette (quinn's mum): hey darling! is everything ok?
quinn: yeah! i was just phoning to see where everyone was. im not long back from rachels
jennette: ah ok! well me and toby have just been out at one of his rugby games then we went to do some food shpping. and your dad is out at work so he wont be back till 7 or 8
quinn: alright! ill just see you guys when you get back!
jennette: yeah, we wont be long! we are just on our way to the till to pay for everything
quinn: awesome! just give me a shout when you are back and ill come down to help you unpack everything
jennette: thanks darling! will do
quinn: alright, bye
jennette: bye
*30 minutes later! jennete pulls up in the driveway and beeps the horn to let quinn know that they have arrived back home. quinn heard her mum drive up to the front of the house so she gets off her bed and goes straight down to help her mum and brother carry the shoppong bags into the kitchen*
jennette: *is stood at the boot handing two shopping bags to toby, when she sees quinn walk out the front door and towards the boot too collect the shopping bags* hey, how was last night?
quinn: *walked past her brother and messed up his hair just to wind him up a little. then she looked up at her mum and smiled just thinking back to spending time with rachel last night* it was great. me, rachel and terry had a musical, movie marathon. and as usual me and rachel were singing and dancing the whole time *laughs at the memeory*
jennette: yeah, terry sent me some videos of you and rachel last night. *smiles at quinn*
quinn: oh geez! *starts to get embarrassed that her mum saw her dancing*
jennette: it wasnt that bad! you girls looked so happy *smiles at quinn*
quinn: yeah! just dont let toby ever see them, because he will take the absolute piss out of me for it *laughs*
jennette: *closes the boot of the car then follows quinn into the house with the last few shopping bags that are left* dont worry! i wont let him see it
toby: *was sat at on the couch when he heard quinn and jennette come into the house. he walked back into the kitchen to help unpack the shopping* let who, see what? *looks at his mum, curious about what they were talking about, because he is nosey like that and always has been*
jennette: alright, mister big ears! *laughs as her and quinn start to put the shopping away and ignore toby's question
toby: its me, isnt it?
quinn: yes! so no more questions *hopes her brother doesnt keep nagging her and her mum to try and get them to show him what they are talking about*
toby: fine then! i guess ill just have to find out for myelf *smiles mischeiveously which makes quinn rolls her eyes*
jennette: alright you too! toby, go get cleaned up before you have a chance to rip each other apart *shakes her head at her kids for winding each other up*
toby: ofcourse mother! *smiles sweetly to jennette then looks to quinn and stickes his tounge out at her before he dissapeared up the stairs*
quinn: *looks back at her mum once she saw toby dissapear out of sight* well that was close *laughs* thanks for not telling him *rests her arms on the counter top and rests her head in her hands*
jennette: *laughs at quinn for being so freaked out about toby seeing her dancing* your welcome darling! *puts the last few items away in the cupboards then turns to rest her arms on the counter and face quinn* so... what you wanting to do now?
quinn: i dont know! have you got any work that you need to do tonight? *saw that her mums laptop still set out on the dinning room table as if she was still thinking of going back to do something*
jennette: nope! got it all done this morning before i took your brother to his rugby game *Smiles at quinn*
quinn: *smiles at her mum* awesome! so could we maybe have a night of playing board games? and i guess toby can joinin too, if he want to * playfully rools her eyes then looks at her mums look of disapproval but saw that she was also laughing coz her mum expects nothing less when it comes to quinn talking about toby*
jennette: yeah, id love too! ill get my work stuff all cleared off the table *walks over to the dinning table and starts to put all the papers in a neat pile, placing most of them back in the right part of her work folder* while you go up for the games, remember to ask your brother if he wants to join in *looks over at quinn as she makes her way to the stairs*
quinn: *looks back at her mum before she goes up the stairs* i guess i could go and kindly ask him to come and join us *looks back at her mum and laughs coz she knows that her mum was gonna be shaking her head at quinns attitude. quinn turns and goes to collect the games then to talk to her brother*
