*fast forward to that night*
*Brittany and Santana decide to go back to Brittany's house because Santana's parents are always working late, and they don't mind if she is at Brittany's so much. They are just happy she is safe and happy*
Brittany: *breathes a sigh of relief as she flops onto the couch out of exhaustion* thank goodness school is over and done with.
Santana: yeah, today was way to long. *lies down with her head resting on Brittany's lap*
*Brittany just sits there playing with Santana hair for a few moments. then she hears her phone start to buzz a few times*
*at first she is ignoring it and focusing on being with Santana since they kept on getting separated at school today. a few minutes later her phone kept on buzzing and she realised that it was the group chat for san's surprise*
Santana: whoever that is, they must be pretty desperate to tell you something *laughs*
Brittany: I know right *laughs trying not to give anything away*
Santana: well, I'm thinking of having a bubble bath and getting into my pj's and... maybe one of your hoodies? *smirks and gives puppy dog eyes to Britt, hoping she will allow it*
Brittany: ok babe, Ofc you can! *kisses san's forehead before Santana gets up to go upstairs*
Santana: thank you *jumps up and smiles then kisses Britt again out of gratitude*
*while san was upstairs, Brittany thought that it would be the perfect time to get the surprise sorted for Santana, especially after such a hard day*
*Brittany texts the group chat*
Brittany: thank you so much you guys! San is going to love this *smiley face*
*just as Brittany was finishing up on putting all the videos together and writing a little letter of her own, she hears san come out of the bedroom. so she quickly finished writing her own letter for San. She puts a kiss mark at the bottom corner then folded it up*
Santana: what you got there babe? *Looking over Brittany's shoulder at the laptop, that was kinda closed over just enough so san wouldn't see what's on the screen*
Brittany: I've just done a little something for you *Smiles and walks over to san and wraps her arms around her waist as san rests her arms over britt's shoulders*
Santana: It's not my birthday... What's the occasion?
Brittany: because I love you, and you deserve the world more than once a year. *smiles and looks into sans eyes as Santana blushes and looks into Brittany's eyes
Santana: I love you so much! you are too sweet... I really don't deserve you!
*Brittany guides Santana to sit in the chair that is in front of the laptop. as Santana watches the video, Brittany stands behind the chair just hoping that Santana won't react badly to Rachel being part of this*
*when Rachel's part was playing, Brittany could sense that san wanted to make a snarky comment... but she didn't thankfully*
Santana: *the video finishes* that was beautiful babe, thank you.
Brittany: *sits in the chair next to Santana and they turn to look at each other* I'm so glad you liked it.*kisses her on the cheek* .....I just have one more thing *reaches into the back pocket of her jeans and takes out the folded bit of paper and hands it to Santana*
*on the letter*
*santana starts to read out loud*

I know I tell you this so often but you are the literal definition of perfection. You don't like to believe it so that's why I had a few others tell you, just to make sure you didn't think I was being biased with you, being my smoking hot girlfriend and all. *laughs and playfully rolls her eyes as she looks to Britt and grabs hold of her hand and kisses her knuckles* a few things that I love most about you are, your personality! your sarky bitch side!
