rach: *decided to stop talking in the third person coz she knows quinn isnt the biggest fan of it* i cant wait to hug you, kiss you, laugh with you and most likly make a fool of myself in front of everyone with my "amazing " dancing skills *laughing face and shades*
*jennette started to notice that quinn had been smiling down at her phone for the past 5 minutes, instead of watching the tv with her*
jennette: what you smiling at, honey? *looks over at quinn, who was sat on the single armchair that her dad was sat at when he first got back home*
*just as quinn was about to reply to rachel, she heard her mum and instantly stopped smiling and started freaking out. she felt like she should just come out with it, literally! and just tell her mum about the true meaning of rachel and her relationship*
quinn: umm... *clears her throat* mum, can we talk? *starts shaking from nerves but managed to pull herself together*
jennette: *could see that this was something serious. so she turned the tv off and sat up straight, facing quinn* ofc honey, come here! *patted the empty space next to her*
*quinn left her phone on the seat that she was on then went over to sit on the bigger couch. quinn was sat with her legs crossed and had her body facing her mum but didnt have the nerve to look her in the eye. so kept her head down towards her fidgiting hands*
jennette: honey... whats going on? *starts to worry because shes never seen quinn this nervous before*
quinn: mum... im *paused to take a deep breath* ...im gay!
jennette: *was shocked but wasnt bothered by it* ok... thats absolutly fine honey!
quinn: *looks up smiling weakly because she is still a little unsure that her mum is completly fine with it* really?...
jennette: absolutely! honey... your father and i dont care who you go to bed with. as long as our babygirl is happy!... and as long as it isnt under this roof *laughs as does quinn*
quinn: thanks mum! that means alot that you dont see me as a completly different person now that ive told you the truth about how im feeling *smiles at her mum*
jennette: ofc honey! you arent defined by your sexuality... its a big part of your identity, i know! but there is so much more to you. and your father and i are so proud of the young woman that you have become *smiles at quinn*

*toby and darren walked in as jennette and quinn were hugging and quinn looked up to toby smiling. toby smiled back becuase he somehow knew what quinn just spoke to their mum about, considering the tears in quinns eyes and the smile on her face*
