*the graduation ceremony has started and the head teacher appeared from behind the stage curtains. He give a little speech to everyone in the audience, welcoming them and talking about how proud he is to have had such great students this year. Everyone knows he just says that about every year to keep the parents from getting mad at him. he then starts introducing the students one by one so they can come on the stage*
*5 minutes later, he is coming close to the end of his list of all the students names*
Head Teacher: *reads the list of names enthusiastically*next up is... RACHEL BERRY *everyone on the stage so far and all the audience clap. Of course her dad goes above and beyond by shouting a little and standing up to clap for her*
*rachel smiles from ear to ear when she hears her name being called but she covers her face in embarrassment once she spotted her dad in the crowd. She does end up laughing about it because her dad has always been so supportive of every little thing Rachel achieves so she is used to that kind of reaction from him*
Head Teacher: *waits till the clapping dies down a little before her looks at the list to read the next name* SANTANA LOPEZ... *Meredith made sure to catch Santana's entrance on camera to show Valerie, for when they go to visit her in hospital*
Head Teacher: QUINN FABRAY... *makes her entrance and waves to her parents*
Quinn's dad: *shouts loud enough for Quinn to hear* thats my girl... *stands up and claps, so does her mum. Quinn stands next to Rachel and grabs hold of her hand as they both laugh at Quinn's dad*
Head Teacher: and last but not least... BRITTANY PIERCE *now it was Meredith's turn to stand up and clap, cheering for her daughter. San was smiling from ear to ear and clapping as Brittany walked up to her. Santana gave Brittany a kiss then they stood together and looked out at the audience like the rest of the students*
*once the crowd was sitting in their seats and had their full attention back on the stage. The head teacher gave another little speech to the students, congratulating them for getting through high school and being one of his most memorable year 7 classes that he has every witnessed since he started teaching*
Head teacher: *enthusiastically talks into the microphone* everybody join me and give a round of applause... TO THE CLASS OF 2015 GRADUATES *claps as he turns to see the students all throwing their hats in the air then hugging each other, while the crowd all stand on their feet shouting and whistling*
*once graduation was over Meredith walk back to the lockers that she said she would meet Brittany at. As she waited she decided to text Valerie*
Valerie's phone! Message from *Meredith*
Meredith: they did it, our girls graduated *smiley face* Here is a couple of videos i took for you
Meredith: *video's sent* *it is a videos of Santana's entrance onto the stage then another video of the girls when they threw their hats in the air*

Valerie: she looks amazing and so happy... really wish I could have been there to see it all happening *sad face emoji*

Meredith: don't worry val, I'm sure san will be more than happy to show off her gown and hat, at some point*
*just as Meredith sent that message, she hear the girls classroom door opening and heard lots of laughter and some students still celebrating that this was their last moments in this high school*
Meredith: *sees the girls walking towards her* hey girls, who's ready for some food *smiles*
Brittany: yes pls, I'm starving
Santana: same
Meredith: alright *smiles at the girls as they smile back. They all walk to the car. Brittany and san sit in the back as Meredith gets in the driving seat*...any requests of where you want to eat? *looks to the girls through the rear view mirror*
Santana: I'm kinda in the mood to go to that Italian place. It's only a 5 minute drive from here
Meredith: sounds perfect, you ok with that honey? *looks at Britt though the rear view mirror as San looks over to Brittany as well*
Brittany: sounds good! *smiles at san then Brittany turns to look out the window as Santana turns to look out hers*
*Meredith pulls up to the restaurant and parks a few blocks away because the place was pretty packed already*
Meredith: *excitedly speaks* we're here! *turns off the engine then looks back at the girls as they smile and take their seatbelts off. They made sure to leave their hats and gowns in the car coz they no longer need them*
*Meredith walks to the entrance and holds the door open and looks back to see that Brittany was opening the door for san, offering her a piggy back*
Brittany: hop on! *looks back at san and smiles*
Santana: *laughs at Brittany as she wraps her arms around Brittany's shoulders and the same with her legs around Brittany's waste. Brittany walks up to the door and thanks her mum for holding it open*
Meredith: *laughs and playfully shakes her head at the girls* can not take you anywhere... *walks over to the waitress that was stood close to the door. At this point san is no longer on Brittany's back and is just walking next to her, holding onto her hand.*
Waiter: good evening ladies, how many of you will be dinning with us today? *politely smiles*
Meredith: 3 please!
Waiter: alright, follow me this way *picks up 3 menu's and walks to a round table in a booth, near the back of the restaurant*
*5 minutes after they were seated, the same waiter came back and took note of the drinks that they were wanting. Another 5 minute or so and they were served their drinks*
Meredith: cheers ladies! *lifts her drink up towards the girls as the girls lift their drinks up and meet in the middle to lightly tap against each other's glass's together*... well done for getting through all your school years. and despite any challenges that tried to get in your way and knock you down. You just got back up and kept your head held high. i couldn't be prouder of the amazing young ladies that you have turned into. *looked at the girls smiling as they look back smiling just as much*
Santana: thats so sweet Meredith, thank you!
Brittany: yeah, thanks mum!
*little bit of a pause as they take a sip of their drinks*
Santana: i just wanna say thank you to you guys... *Britt and Meredith look at san wondering why she is thanking them* thank you for letting me live with you both the past few months... when i first got kicked out of my parent house, i was so scared and confused. But with you guys showing me so much love and support from the start. I was able to get through it and be so much stronger within myself to deal with unexpected changes that life throws at me *smiles as she looks to brittany who smiled back and didn't need to say anything, she just leaned in and kisses San on the cheek while wrapping her left arm round Santana's lower back to rest it there*
Meredith: you are very welcome darling! You know that you will always have me and brittany... no matter what the situation is*
*as they moved on from all the heartfelt stuff. The waiter came and took their orders and the food was served to them within 30 minutes*
*even as Meredith drove home, their conversations flowed with ease and they never ran out of things to chat about between the 3 of them. As they drove past the college, they had about 10 minutes left till they would arrive back home. Within those 10 minutes, san was getting tired so she lay across Brittany's lap and fell asleep within seconds*
*Meredith looked up into the rear view mirror and saw how san had fallen asleep in Britt's lap and she watched in awe of how Brittany sat brushing her fingers through Santana's hair. Britt was smiling to herself as she stared down at Santana and Meredith knew that, that look was just brittany thinking about how lucky she was to have san in her life*
