Yoongi had become a regular visitor at the academy. He had so much fun spending time with Hoseok and Jimin, he decided to join the academy. Jin was beyond ecstatic. He began gloating about how right he was and how brilliant he is.
"Yes! Mission Yoonseok is going according to plan!" Suddenly Jin's eyebrows knit together, thinking hard. "Now we have to figure out how to get you two together..."
Yoongi groaned loudly, but Jin didn't seem to notice. After a few moments, he snapped out of the trance and gave a look to Yoongi that made him step back.
"You have Jimin's number, don't you?"
"Uh- yes?"
"Good, send it to me. He's a Yoonseok shipper, right?"
Yoongi suppressed a laugh and shrugged. "I guess he is."
"Hmmm..." Jin went back inflating his thought cloud. Yoongi decided not to disturb him since he was planning on helping him anyway. He hoped he wasn't planning anything stupid, but since the earlier mission proved to be successful, he trusted him. Yoongi sighed and picked up his phone. A warm smile spread throughout his face when he saw his wallpaper. He thought about what Jimin had said.
"I think you're meant for him."
Maybe, just maybe, Yoongi hoped Jimin was right. Though he always dreamt of being Hoseok's boyfriend, he never had the actual courage to bring up the topic. He tried giving subtle hints, but Hoseok never managed to notice them. He was nice to all, as usual.
Yoongi didn't want to be desperate, but seeing Jin and Namjoon- he wanted that. He wanted to be with Hoseok. He wanted Hoseok in his arms. He wanted Hoseok to be his.
Yoongi sighed.
Jin aimed and accurately threw a cushion at Yoongi's head. "Yah, pabo! What are you thinking? Send Jimin's number!"
Yoongi lazily threw the cushion back at Jin, way off target. After Yoongi had forwarded Jimin's number, Jin had immediately dialled in and waited for Jimin to answer. Yoongi was always amazed by Jin's social skills and his ability to charm anyone. He wished he could be as confident and poised as him. A few seconds later, Jin was talking to Jimin, as if they had definitely met before and this obviously wasn't their first conversation.
Yoongi's parents left after their one week of stay. An emergency had come up and Yoongi's parents were forced to leave, even though they really didn't want to. They apologized over and over again and Yoongi expressed it didn't matter, although he did feel sad that they were leaving soon.
Thinking about his omma, he decided to call her and update her on the current happenings.
Yoongi's omma was delighted in hearing her son's voice. Yoongi mentioned about his new friends, school and specifically that Jin was dating Namjoon.
Yoongi's mother laughed, "You know I was joking, Yoongi! It doesn't really matter." She stopped for a moment.
"Well? What about you? Are you interested in anyone?"
Yoongi's chest tightened. Why was his mother like this?
"Uh..no?"
Yoongi heard his mother chuckle. "Is that a question?"
Yoongi hopelessly changed the subject, "I- uh, um. Joined dance classes?"
The confused mother asked, "You joined what now?"
Yoongi thanked the Lords. "Well, I joined dance classes."
His mother wasn't convinced. "Yah, when did you start dancing?"
