Jungkook finally came to a compromise.

He agreed that Jin's food was as good Jackson's. Maybe slightly even better, but Jungkook was biased after all.

Jin's face literally glowed from all the praise. Namjoon stuffed his face with food and showered his boyfriend with compliments. Jin's eyes twinkled as he did so and proceeded to hit Namjoon for the nth time.

"It's not much a deal." He smiled.

Namjoon's eyes widened, "Not much of a deal? Hyung, have you tried your food? It's amazing!"

Jin laughed, "I make food for you every day, pabo."

Namjoon shrugged, "It gets better each day." He picked up a piece of meat with his chopsticks and reached out to Jin. Jin laughed as he opened his mouth and chomped on the meat. He hummed in satisfaction, "That is really good."

Taehyung swallowed and nodded his head, "I'm going to have to agree with that."

Jungkook raised his hand and smiled, "Ditto."

Jin smiled and blushed, "Thanks, you two."

Taehyung glanced at Jungkook and the younger locked eyes with him. Taehyung smiled and resumed eating. Jungkook maybe stared at the elder a little too long because Jin looked between the two and raised an eyebrow. Namjoon could hear the gears turning inside Jin's head so he scooted closer towards him and whispered, "Watchu thinking?"

Jin pursed his lips in thought. Namjoon kept on eating but waited for the other to respond. Jin didn't want to seem suspicious in front of the two so he gave a look to Namjoon which he deciphered as 'I'll tell you later.' Namjoon nodded and scooted away.

Jungkook curiously peered at the two and turned towards Taehyung, "Did you understand what that was?"

Taehyung shrugged, "Nope. I guess it's just soulmate things."

Jungkook snickered and turned towards Jin. For some reason, Jin had been actually staring at him. He turned his attention from Jungkook, towards Taehyung and asked, "Have you ever told us how you met Jungkook?"

Taehyung's mind travelled back to a month and a few weeks back. He laughed at the memory.

Jungkook raised his eyebrow, "To be honest, I don't even know how exactly we met either." He turned towards Taehyung, "I wanna know this story too."

Jin, Namjoon and Jungkook stared expectantly at Taehyung. He sighed and thought how to alter the story before starting, "Well, what actually  happened was.."

"What the hell, Tae? Did you just skip classes?" Jin questioned, dubiously looking at him. Taehyung innocently shrugged and Jungkook laughed. Namjoon rolled his eyes and hit the back of Jin's head, "As if you haven't, hyung."

Jin protested, "I have perfectly good reasons, okay? Well, because- um, well." Not finding anything to say, Jin gestured towards Taehyung, "Yeah, okay. That's fair, I guess."

Namjoon smirked and then turned back to Taehyung. He raised an eyebrow. "Did you skip a lot though?"

Jungkook intervened, "Nah, I found out. Then we started hanging out at the park just outside. That was the only part of the day I had peace and serenity."

Taehyung agreed, "Me too. My roommates are obnoxiously loud for absolutely no reason. Like, they can't stay quiet even for a few minutes." He shook his head in disappointment.

Jungkook shook his head along with him. "Mine too. Good that we found each other."

Taehyung laughed. "Yeah, good." He didn't want to make eye contact with Jungkook, because he felt his gaze upon him and looking at him would result in him blushing and he definitely didn't want to blush. Especially not now, in front of his hyungs, because it wouldn't take a genius to figure out what was going on.
