Y/n pov

"Come on, I know a place where we can talk," Noya takes my hand and starts to walk. We arrive at a park with a little pond, sitting on a bench with a view of it I take a deep breath. I open my mouth and nothing comes out, closing my mouth I try to think what to say. "Just take your time, no pressure," he rubs my back. "I just don't know where to start," I nervously look at him, "Anything in particular you want to know?" He thinks for a minute, "I want to know everything! All the sadness, the people in your life, even even your hopes and dreams." I laugh when I see his enthusiasm, "That might take awhile."

He suddenly runs off, not knowing what to do I just watch him run. "What just happened?" I pondered if I had scared him off, while deep in thought I hear someone clear their throat. Looking up I see Noya with ice cream. "Haha, you could have told me," I take it with a smile. "Sorry, it was a moving cart and I didn't want to miss it," he scratches the back of his head. I relax as I eat and start to tell him everything. This was the longest I've ever seen Noya quiet and serious, when I was done I waited for his reaction.

"I understand now," he finishes his ice cream, "I'm sorry you had to go through that." He takes my hand, "I wish, I had met you earlier to protect you." I ruffle his hair, "Don't, I wouldn't be as strong as I am now and I'm happy I met you here." He looks at me with a pink face, "Still, if I had met you maybe you wouldn't be as distant." I stop and look at him with surprise, "Actually, I would have pushed you away if we met earlier. When I was middle school I closed myself off from Keishin, Ukai, even these nice people that took care of me once." He looks at me with a sad look, "will you continue to keep us at an arms distance?"

I smile, "No, I want to experience real friendships with you and everyone else. I really enjoy being with you guys." He sighs a breath of relief, "I'm glad." He leans in close to me and kisses my cheek.

I feel the warm sensation of his lips and blush, "I-It's getting late, we should go home." He stands up, "Let's go." He offers his hand, taking it with a smile we walk through the rest of the park.
