Flying with Karasuno

A/n:

I realize that I'm making up all of these move that don't actually exist in volleyball, but please go with it. I'm really trying to make you seem like a badass, the moves aren't really that important to know

2nd pov

The game starts Kenma serving, Asahi receives it but it's pretty messy. "That's what happens when you skip a month of practice," Noya yells at him. "Sorry." 

Kageyama gets ready to set, Hinata and I both run to the net getting ready to spike. Kageyama sets it to Hinata making it quick attack. When we score a point Nekoma freezes, 

"Woah, that was crazy fast. How?"

"A quick attack from that distance?"

The Nekoma coach frowns, "How did he do that? The kid didn't even have his eyes open." Takeda and Keishin smirk evilly. "Wow, that's amazing. You've got skill," Kenma compliments Hinata making him laugh sheepishly. 

I see Kenma looking closely at Hinata, he's observing us

It was Tanaka's turn to serve; Nekoma receives and spikes, but Noya gets it to Kageyama. Hinata starts running to the net again, the blockers jump with him but this time I do a quick attack.

"No way! She can do those crazy quick attacks too?!"

"Wow, I really didn't expect this from the 2 short player."

"What the hell?! She had her eyes open. Does that mean she's even better than the other kid?" Keishin smiles even more as the Nekoma coach looks in awe. I turn to Kenma looking him straight in the eyes, he flinches. How do you like being observed?

The next play Hinata and I distract the blockers, opening a way for Asahi to land a hit. The libero actually manages to get a hand on the spike, Noya looks surprised.

Tsukki goes in for Noya for the front row and Hinata is replaced by Noya in the back row. "That libero is impressive, huh?" I talk to Noya. "Yeah, he managed to get a hand on Asahi's ball." 

Karasuno is getting points pretty easily, too easy. Just as we were getting our flow Nekoma calls a time out. I stare at Kenma, do they already know how to shut down Hinata?

3rd pov

Nekoma team huddled in a group, "Listen up," the coach begins to talk, "their spikers  and libero are pretty good, however their setter and the girl are the most powerful people out of the whole group, they're monsters. The setter is setting to their optimum striking point, he can thread a needle with that control. The girl isn't very noticeable at first besides being short, but she's like us. She's balanced, her receives are perfect and her spikes are definitely a force to be recon with; I'm sure they're more than meets the eye about her." The entire team watches those two

"Not much we can do with those two, but just because they have 2 geniuses on the team doesn't mean they'll win." The coach looks at Kenma, "The team is really relying on Hinata and Y/n for attacks, but we should focus on shutting down Hinata. He'll be easier to deal with."

"How's Hinata and Y/n?" "Karasuno's number 10 and the girl."

"That's right, all three of them are a deadly combo. It's like a goddess with a demon under her command who has a deadly weapon. We must first disarm the demon.

Y/n pov

"Keishin," I walk over to him, "I have a bad feeling." He nods his head in agreement, "I feel it too, they're scrutinizing our every move." I get back on the court and the game continues. At first glance Nekoma isn't really that special, but they have a sold foundation and they know how to adapt
