Y/n pov

When I ask Kageyama to talk with me, he nods. Grabbing his stuff we head out together, there's no real words between us only silence. It wasn't awkward but rather calming, until he tugs on my shirt. "Let's get something to drink," he points at a corner store. I follow him in, picking (Favorite drink) and (Favorite snack) I see him debating milks. Laughing I stand next to him, "You always take milk seriously." He blushes, "I guess."

Finally deciding on one we pay and continue in silence. I look up at the sky, seeing the bright moon made me continue looking up without paying attention. "Oof," I run into Kageyama's back. He immediately turns to me, "I'm still learning on how to rely and trust others, so I understand what it means to be alone." Surprised at his sudden speech I don't say anything at first. "I know what you went through is worse than me, just know that you're not the only person trying," he scratches his cheek, "honestly, you're probably going to do better than me when it comes to getting closer with others."

I smile at him, "You doubt yourself too much. You're honest about how you feel and you know how to express yourself, I hid. I've always hid, because I'm afraid." He holds my hand, "K- Kageyama?" I blush at his sudden action. "You don't need to be afraid, with all of us, you can learn. You can learn with me," he squeezes my hand. I squeeze back, "Thank you, it's really assuring to know that you're learning with me. You're always so kind to me." He turn his face away from me, "I-It's nothing." I couldn't see his face, but his ears looked a little red.

While we're walking I see a little girl walking with her parents, she's smiling at them. The scene was beautiful, but I feel a little sad. "Are you thinking of your parents?" Kageyama sees where I'm looking. "Yeah, I know I said I don't care about them but I do miss them or at least wish I had those moments with them," I see the father picking up his daughter and set her up on his shoulder, "I never had those moments with them. I don't even remember being kissing goodnight." "Wow, I'm sorry," he doesn't know what to say. We talk about more things as we walk, when we go our separate ways I say goodbye and walk away.

"Y/n! Hold on!" I turn around and see Kageyama running towards me. I tilt my head when he finally reaches me, "Is something wrong?" He looks at me with a red face, grabbing my shoulders he kisses my forehead, "GOODNIGHT!!" He yells at me and runs away. I touch my forehead, I still feel the warmth of his lips. Turning into a tomato I walk back home thinking of what he did
