THEODORE

I stopped by a flower shop and bought roses. I smiled everytime I glanced at them. 5 years since that day, it was 5 years.

I was currently driving my motorbike just fresh out of a mission. It was not a hard one, I just have to spy and get evidence on a group of people for weeks and it was not hard getting it since they were care less as shit.

I stopped at my destination. I went inside the cemetery and placed the  flowers beside her and smiled “I'm sorry if I rarely visit, I was busy. I love you”

I felt a tear escaped my eye, it's been years but I still get emotional everytime I remember her. What can I say? I love her, I damn much love her.

The wind blew and the cold sensation embraced me.

“Damn, I was too late” I cursed under my breath “I'm damn too late to realize how I love you baby and I regret it so much, please come back”

Tears came flowing but I didn't care, it was for her and it is worth it.

Kahit limang taon na ako naghintay at nabigo ay umaasa parin ako na bumalik siya, maybe it'll come true, I hope it'll come true.

“Baby alam mo ba?” I asked her “Eric proposed to Yvonne yesterday”

I what have happened yesterday when I was kicking ass and then my phone suddenly rang, i picked it up only to hear Eric asking for advice on how to make his proposal the best.

I chuckled on the thought, I don't even have a relationship with anyone but he asked me while I was in a mission.

Biglang nawala ang ngiti ng binaling ko ang tingin sakanya “If you are here, could we be like them? Are we already dating, or I should have already proposed. Heck, we could married”

Everytime I get a chance, I always visit her. I'll tell her everything that happened to me and the guys.

I smiled bitterly at her “Gising ka na please? I can't take it anymore, please wake up for me baby”

“Baby....” I mumbled “Please, yan lang ang ihihingi ko”

Tumingala ako sa langit at pilit na ngumiti “Please grant my birthday wish. I asked for the nth time but I don't care just grant my wish, please?”

I woke up the next day by a phone call. Annoyed, I picked up the phone “What?”

I heard the other line gulped “[Happy Birthday Bud!]”

I yawned “If that's all your going to say I'll hang up now—”

“[Teka lang!]” he cut me off “[Meron pa, atat na atat tayo ha?]”

“Shoot” borely, I answered

“[Dress up bro at pumunta ka sa ******]” he informed

My forehead ceased, anong pakulo ng mga ito?

“And why would I do that?” I asked again

“[Dahil— PUTA ELLIOT IKAW MAG-EXPLAIN SA GAGO AYAW KO NA ANG HIRAP PAINTINDIHIN NITO!]”

I don't know if I should laugh or get irritated by what he said. He literally screamed at the phone after asking for advice in the middle of a mission?

“[Dude]” I heard Elliot's voice “Magbihis ka na lang”

“Why are so persistent in getting my ads there?” I asked with annoyance

I heard a sigh coming from the other line “[Dahil pinaghandaan namin ang birthday mo at effort na effort kami dito tapos hindi ka pa pupunta, nasaang ang respeto d'yan?]” he stated

Isa pa ang lalaking ito, he asked— no ordered me to find out what Heaven's flower is. It was harder then other missions I got, I don't know why women are so complicated.

After I took a short bath and wore simple clothing I got my bike's keys and went out.

Well they didn't classify what to wear so jeans and a shirt will do.

My forehead ceased when the address they send me was a small cafe. I checked the address again and again to make sure and it is right. Baka ito na nga yun.

I opened the door to the cafe and saw the guys. Heaven obviously beside her possessive fianće showered me with confetti. I saw Stacey sitting down beside a paralyzed Adrian, yeah that's normal as ever. I also saw Yvonne wearing a expensive dress as ever, while Eric's face that even the most famous artist cannot draw. Para siyang binagsakan ng langit at lupa!

I saw my favorite food on the side with sweets, who could forget the sweets?

They began to sing happy birthday and I can't help but smile.

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday...." they said together

“To you” someone behind me finished

I felt everything went slowed down as I turned around and saw her holding a cake.

“Happy birthday Theodore” she greeted

If other people say my name I go mad but when she said it, I found it amusing like I could hear it hours and hours.

I felt a tear in my cheek “Is this real? I-I'm not dreaming?”

Stacey, that was beside us took the cake from her and placed it at the nearest table. She shook her head and wiped my tears using her thumb, caressing my face afterwards. I held her hand and kissed it softly.

“No your not” she said smiling “Sorry kung natagalan ako ng ilang—”

I didn't let her finish, I kissed her infront of the guys. I kissed her passionately and she responded with the same extent.

I heard yelling but hell I'll care about that, in the moment all I want to pay my attention is the girl infront of me.

“I love you baby” I said after she broke the kiss

She smiled at me, a smile I rarely see “I love you too, Theo”

I smiled and looked at the sky again, thank you, thank you for granting my long wish. I love this girl infront of me and I couldn't ask for more— well juniors maybe?

Brooke, Heaven, Yvonne and Stacey have been through a lot, they have different stories and crimes but come together and form a new and happy family.
