“Ok, girls you can have a 5 minute break” saad ng cheer captain namin
Agad akong umupo sa isang sulok mag-isa dahil absent si Yvonne ngayon dahil nga daw masakit ang ulo.
Class hours pa ngayon kaya hindi pa nanood ang dalawa at mukhang hindi pa makanood sina Heaven at Stacey dahil nga sa assignment nilang sundan si Mr. Grey.
Sa hindi inaasahang pangyayari, tumabi sa'kin si Ms. Heartily. Mas napadali ang misyon ko kaya napangiti nalang ako sakanya.
“Are you busy today?” tanong niya kaya umiling ako
Ngumiti siya ng matamis “Great! Pwede ka bang sumama sa mall mamaya?”
Ayaw na ayaw ko sa mga crowded areas at hindi ako mahilig mag-shopping pero dahil misyon kong sundan ang babaeng ito tumango nalang ako “Yeah sure”
“See you at the mall then” saad niya, halatang excited na din
Pagkatapos ng practice ay agad akong sinalubong ni Hendrickson. Mukhang stress na strees siya at dahil mabait ako, mas lalo ko siyang inisin.
“Theodore!” sigaw ko habang sinalubong ko siya
Mas lalong nalukot ang mukha niya dahil sa sinabi ko “I told you not to call me that”
Tumawa naman ako “Ang arte mo naman”
“Lead?” tanong niya muli
Umirap muna ako bago ko siya sagutin “Wala pa, but....”
“But what?” tila malapit na maubos ang pasensya niya
“Sasabayan ko siya sa mall mamaya” nakangiti kong saad
“So?” takang tanong niya
Binatukan ko naman siya dahil sa inis, sinamaan niya tuloy ako ng tingin.
“Sama ka” saad ko
Tumaas ang kilay niya “And why would I do that?”
“Mission ok, mission” paalala ko “Huwag kang aarte, sinong may sabing gusto ko ring pumunta?”
Bumugtong-hininga siya “Fine, for the mission”
“Great!” sigaw ko at kinaladkad siya sa parking lot ng unibersidad
“Bakit tayo nandito?” tanong niya at hindi parin mawala ang accent niya
“Matanda ka na talaga at madali ka ng makalimot” umiling-iling na komento ko “Pupunta tayo sa mall!”
“You won't change?” tanong niya
“Bakit pa?” tanong kong pabalik “I mean, I'm already wearing clothes”
“You wore that to school” pagpo-pointout niya
“So?” wala namang mali du'n eh
“Bakit ang good mood mo ngayon?” tanong niya “I'm honestly weirded out”
“Bakit ang sungit mo?” taas kilay kong tanong “Basta! I feel something good is going to happen today!”
THEODORE
I am now driving the car to the mall. I don't know why but I was crept out by her sudden change of mine.
Lagi siyang masungit pero ngayon parang nagbago ang ugali niya. I was often catching glances at her.
“Ano ang tinitingnan mo Hendrickson?” she asked
And now she's back to her old self. Sinusungitan niya naman ako.
“Now, what's with the sudden change of mood?” I asked her once again
She roamed her eyes around the car then answered “May sumusunod sa'tin kanina”
That explains everything. But it suddenly brought more questions, why are they following us?
“I know that look” she commented “I think tama ang sinusundan na'tin”
“Kung tama nga, we need to be more careful” I thought
“Thank you for stating the obvious, Hendrickson” she said while rolling her eyes
Now this is the girl I know. I secretly laughed at that thought, I really thought that the cheerleaders shit rubbed into her but she's the Angel of Death why did I forgot about that?
After parking, she immediately smiled sweetly. Talk about acting.
She clinged into my arm and wrapped her arms around it like a flirty bitch.
“Huwag mo bigyan ng malisya ito Hendrickson kung hindi makatikim ka sa kamao ko” pabulong na banta niya and not even a minute later her smile came back
“Anica!” she yelled and ran towards the target not even letting go of me, kaya naman nakaladkad niya ako AGAIN
“Hi!” the girl greeted back and looked at me “Who is he?”
“Umm, he's, ummm” she stutterd “Errrr”
I need to do something or else this mission will be compromised “I'm her boyfriend”
Her mouth parted on shock but immediately composed herself when she saw Ms. Heartily look at her.
“Y-yeah, his— his my boyfriend” she uttered
I don't know if I was imagining things but for a minute there I saw her blush lightly. Nah, maybe she's mad at my excuse that she became red.
Tinaasan siya ng kilay ng target “So, you made me a third wheel?”
I felt my ears turn a bright shade of red but I shook my head to ignore such reaction.
“I'm sorry” she said “I forgot that I'll be having a date with him and I can't just abandon you here, I promised remember?”

We are now currently watching a cringy romance movie in the cinema. Brooke disagreed but because of the Heartily's persuading powers she ended up agreeing while I'm stuck here with her posing as her love sick boyfriend.
I almost barfed when I saw a couple making out not so far from us. I mean, this is not a motel this is a cinema for crying out loud!
I saw the Heartily focusing on the screen while Brooke trying to stop herself from falling asleep.
“Fuck, this is boring as shit” I heard her whisper
“You got yourself into this Santos” I whispered back with a hint of teasing
“Yeah shit” she whispered whole rolling her eyes
In the middle of the movie, Brooke fell asleep. Her head was leaning on my shoulder and I didn't mind.
I suddenly felt a tap coming from the Heartily “Yes?”
“I need to go to the ladies room” she said “Be back in a sec!”
Few minutes later, I started to wonder because she's still not back.
I woke up my sleepy partner and told her the situation. She was about to shurgged it off when we heard gun shots outside.
